Mornin' gang! I'm smoking 5 Brothers in an MM Country Gent with my coffee and can't taste either one. Combine that with a pretty good headache and dripping nose and I'd say the 'Vid has come to visit. I'll mask up and head to work, run a test when I get there and, possibly, have a couple days off. Take care all! I certainly hope that it isn't COVID and that you get well soon, Darin. Thanks, Russ!

Sutliff's Holiday Match Blend, in my Kaywoodie Freehand, coffee on the side...I slept very late, but I was up at 4AM in a cold sweat, and the shakes, with a blood sugar reading of 73; no fun.

Happy Tuesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Tuesday cob and coffee. It's 34 with light rain here, after freezing rain overnight and morning. Roads are in pretty good shape. Side streets are slushy.

2020 Opening Night flake in an MMC Elite Cadel reverse calabash cob. I’ve been finding this to smoke very well and showcase the fruity and confectionery flavor profiles of the sugar casings and toasted sugar flavors in the red VA best in this reverse calabash cob. Whereas in several briars it tends to become ashy and tarry and lose all it’s flavor just past mid-bowl. A reminder for those who only smoke VA flakes in briars to make sure to give them some smokes in large and small cobs as well.

It is just nice to be home and able to enjoy a smoke. Most hotels pretty much suck in accommodating smokers...just got back from Tuba City, headed to Vegas tomorrow.
I think I am going to start laying over at casino-based hotels, they allow smoking...maybe not in the room, but indoors.

The 1960 hardened walnuts clack when I walk, the 70's series, I seem to lack the co-ordination to make them do so.

2012 H&H Magnum Opus in my Savinelli Punto Oro Natural Classic 207 Apple. Another nice apple. Thanks. After Billiard/Canadian/Liverpool, Apple is the most represented shape in my collection. This one falls into the category of "it’s good to know people". Back when I got this one, I knew the regional Laudisi rep fairly well. I told him that I was interested in either a 202 (a smaller Apple) or 207 Punto Oro. He went through Laudisi's warehouse stock and hand picked this one for me. 😎 As a bonus, "Classic" means it has a standard non-filtered push tenon.
