I can report Carter Hall likes this pipe a great deal. First time I've smoked this combination, I think.

Good Morning! It's a mild 51° here with drizzle and fog. Winter and Spring all within a matter of a few weeks. This afternoon my wife will give me that haircut postponed from yesterday and I shave off this scraggly beard because it looks like I'm wearing a disguise. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Amorelli smooth bent Three Star and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good morning! First thing I had to do was send a pack of Javalinas scattering off my porch. Now, it's on to some Burley Legal in an MM Country Gent with black coffee to drink. One more day at Ye Olde Donut Factory and a three day weekend awaits. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's still 51° here with drizzle. Just lit up a bowl of Limerick Flake in the Amorelli. This tobacco comes packed in an almost solid block of flake that's more like a plug and needs to be pried apart. Time to sip more coffee and check the headline news.

I once new a flake that came packed like a plug quite intact. I said with chagrin, as I pulled apart a piece thin, this should smoke well with a light pack!

Good morning! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob and coffee. It's 38, gray, drizzly and wet here. Heavier rain expected tonight. Gonna bake a couple loaves of sourdough in a couple hours.

Good afternoon all. Swim lessons will begin at 3pm in the moat. At least the temp has come up to 70º, but, could do without the two plus inches of rain which have surrounded the house. Since I live on a corner lot I get the drainage from two roads. That's not right, the house is situated backwards, the front faces a main road whilst the address by way of the mailbox is on the back of the house. So the rear road comes across the rear and down the left side of the house, thus having three sides of road frontage. But, at least it is warm for a change!! By way of celebration I will have a bowl of Presbyterian Melange in my Astley's Rhodesian... A fresh large black coffee alongside... Stay smokey...

Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob. Sourdough is baking in the oven. Pete, How did the sourdough come out? Curious minds... It came out okay. It spread a little in the oven, because the dough was a bit wet. Should have refrigerated it a couple more hours. Still has a nice hollow sound when I tap on the crust. The true test will come with dinner. Made a loaf with all white bread flour for the first time. I've always made my loaves with 30% rye flour. The other loaf is also white bread flour, with the addition of rosemary and calamata olives. I like to experiment.

I was feeling better from this flu like thing, I thought today would be the day to catch up on all of the things that I fell behind on, which I did. Typical, I wasn’t feeling quite as better as I thought and realized that after pushing myself too hard. So now I’m having a comfort smoke of Mixture 79 Cherry Brandy in a cob.
