Thanks, SP had a few drops on Peterson's and I timed it right, fortunately the engineering match the briar in all three cases...I am fond of this shape, all smoke very well. I take no credit.

Sis and BIL came over for an evening of card playing and bourbon stock reduction. Had Highland Targe in a Dunhill Shell apple, Friar's Bayou in a self-made, rusticated "55" and Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob.

Captain Black Grape before bed. You made me want to open my big tub, but that's a big commitment. I hadn't had any but a friend gifted me a 12 ounce tub he found at a B&M and over the past few weeks it's been the majority of what I've been smoking.

Good Sunday Morning! It's right at the freezing mark, damp, and cloudy here. This afternoon I have to make the supermarket run that was postponed from yesterday. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's still 32° and damp with a cloudy sky. The forecast snowfall has turned out to be a non-event here and predicted flurries never seem to amount to anything. I just lit up a bowl of fresh Scottish Flake in the Don Carlos and now it's time for the headline news while I sip some more coffee.

Finishing my time here in the workshop with a half bowl of Bayou Morning Flake. Time to check out some more online news before closing up and heading back to the house. This blasted dampness is starting to make my replacement knee ache.

We could use some dry weather here, too. Not as much as you could use it, but I wouldn't mind it.

The Huge old Kristi freehand is back on the table this morning. I had tucked it away throughout most of the holidays, and taken to using the Silver Axe as my daily workhorse, because of it's deep, ample bowl...I think it speaks loud and clear of Pete's skill when a new pipe can fill the shoes of a trusted old friend... the tobacco of the moment is Sutliff's Estate Burley, with some bits and pieces of Frog Morton on the Town, from the spill tray, mixed in. The coffee seems a tad on the weak side this morning.
