Sipping some Redbreast 15 while I sit here and wait for this system deployment to finish because people went and did something dumb that I told them not to do and then exactly the thing I said would happen happened, and now I'm babysitting this thing at 11:30.

Enjoying a White Negroni made with Suze, Lillet, Mi Mama Me Dijo Mezcal, cardamom bitters and a lemon curl. I love this drink. Easy to make but complex flavor profile. Cardamon Bitters would be interesting. I am about to embark on Gin season with the warmer weather. Must look for that on line. Tonight will be my own Sangria. 3/4 Touriga Nacional, 1/4 Tawny Port (from the same vintner), a good splash of 100 proof apple brandy, a large lemon slice. No ice. Cool enough here without it. |
