At the Sheraton… their All American cheeseburger with bacon and green chiles, fries.
Scaled back a bit, hotel fare is overpriced… not paying for it, but acting like I do.
Last time I ate here, $23 for a Pastrami sandwich? It was good but not that good.

I will check them out… thanks! Careful. It's really hard to shell them while you drive.

Good car safety tip Ron. Today was a 7 dollar sirloin can you say small steak, asparagus wrapped in bacon. I am going to take up cattle rustling a new hobby.

They come up to us at the fence and they're all over the hills. Meat on the hoof everywhere. At the meat market good sirloin is about $7/lb. I got an 18oz porterhouse from the manager's special bin for 7.54.

I needed one for the family reunion and scored a Weber kettle for $20, a family member that drove to the reunion took it home… stick with charcoal, you cannot go wrong.😉

I think we're going out for dinner with son and daughter-in-law. One of the local places for burgers (or similar casual hand-held food) and a couple beers.

One of my favorite quick meals: brown Basmati rice with a tin of Mediterranean-style smoked mackerel, with olive oil. Desert can then be served in the same bowl— more Basmati with coconut flakes.

Supper was store bought Fried Chicken which was surprisingly good. Bob Evans mashed potatoes with my own gravy and a side of raw Bok Choy.

A Belgian waffle from my new Bella waffle-maker using Kodiak waffle mix. Awash in butter and non-sugar syrup. It’ll do.

I got two 1 1/2 thick porterhouse steaks from the butcher that I rubbed with smoked sea salt and will out over a natural hardwood charcoal fire tonight. Each steak is 2lbs. I have. 2018 Tight Bank Bordeaux to drink with mine.

Dinner in Alamosa, CO at Oscar's Restaurant. An excellent chicken fried steak smothered in red chile gravy, cottage fried potatoes, excellent refried beans and tortillas. I did not think I could eat the whole thing but I ate it, Ralph.
