So, is the Gemelli pre cooked and then added to the pan with the butter, olive oil and garlic? Curious how you and the Missus do it. Yes, the pasta is just about al dente when sauteed. Janet also included a couple of pieces of lemon and a bit of hot pepper flakes as well. This all could be folded in with a soft, creamy cheese, but the pecorino romano works fine when finely added across the top. I like it this way because the pasta stands out as the larger ingredient. Sounds delicious! |

Out of fresh eggs so "Judees" powdered eggs made from eggs mixed with diced green chilies. Makes a decent substitute more like an egg pancake when cooked in corrals. Sausage patty with TVP, potato patty.

Went to Chipotle, ordered a steak burrito… as the burrito assembler scraped the tiny fragments of steak from the steamtable, he called out “out of steak” and finished the burrito.
Mostly vegetarian burrito, but I found bits of steak in it.
Filled out the contact us/ survey that was on the receipt.
Got an email reply super quick.
Abbreviated…
“Sorry that is a bummer…thanks for letting us know, this will help us going forward….have a good day.
Going forward, there are too many great mom and pop Mexican eateries than to waste time with this California based chain.
Pretty sure if his homie was in line or aunt Clara that woukd not have happened.

Also ate at a Freebirds World Burrito, a Texas chain with about a hundred locations. Worst burrito ever. Great for people who never had a real burrito. They fill it with rice and then ask what you want in it. I walked out. There were gyros next door. |

Supper was a grilled cheese sandwich on excellent store bought white bread. Nice and dense. No label. I have no idea whence it came but it passed my compression test. Tastes great. Cheddar cheese and tomato slices.

Off to Vegas again, I will be near the strip tomorrow night but not on it.
There is a restaurant near the hotel that I need to gather facts on.

Back in Vegas, Botana Mixta for dinner… shrimp, Octopus, fish, and Charales…. Excellent! Ridiculous portion, could have been a great sampler platter for the family. imgur.com/a/NrjOXehPretty good Mariachi band also. |
