Tonight's dinner will be meatballs and pasta in tomato sauce with salad. Oh, and Lily the Cat is having ocean whitefish and tuna. Cat food always sounds better than it smells.

Not taro. I just cannot remember the name. Age, I reckon. Cassava/Yucca? Yucca! Give that man a cigar.

Holed up at Best Western in Henderson Nevada… did a search of nearby restaurants and settled on Remedy’s… Fried Artichokes and hot wings. imgur.com/a/FhFbeNcGot in under the wire… (happy hour) really good $6 dirty Martini. Really good service, and if I was a younger man and single, I would pursue the beautiful sweetie waiting on me. Them days have long passed!

Round two of the Pizza Hut pie. I decided to let my taste buds live vicariously through Charlie and his lunch. Mind over matter works better than reality in some cases like when eating this pizza.

Home made leek potato soup with gorgonzola added for zest. Also a chicken thigh.
Neighbor dropped off a stacked Red Chile enchilada with pinto beans and two mason jars of soup. One is chicken noodle. the other appears to be squash. Much appreciated. I am functioning ok and not in pain but it is nice to have something else to eat on occasion.

Sounds delightful but at Panera bread bagels are 1.59ea so there is that to consider. There are less expensive bagels but none finer. I have not had a Panera bagel since they are not within 150 miles. My only option is from the supermarkets and they are not worthy of the name.
