Chili relleno along side rice and the usual suspects. Pinto beans left over for later. The chihuahua had two tacos less the shells.

Cuz came down from his buffler ranch and I made chorizo-venison burgers and fries. Washed down with copious drafts of ClearCreek toddies.

Yes I did and it was much loved by the people here. Still talked about 20 years later. Where? Costilla, NM. "Latitude 37" was the name. We are on that parallel here. Food and drink served was representative of countries located on the same parallel. The first Fusion joint in northern NM. Also an active music scene. All my photos are on an old hard drive. I might exhume them sometime.

Meat and tomato sauce over pasta with veggies are on the board for tonight's dinner. That sounds like a ragu. You might find this interesting.

Two eggs over easy, two soy sausage patties from Trader Joe, hash brown potatoes. Pot of tea. No more adding sweeteners. However, it occurs to me that mashed berries might work in that role.

The new Cafe opened Monday for lunch and tonight was the first night. They are still in practice mode, but it was good. So wonderful to have our town square restaurant again. It's not the Cass County Seat Country Cooking Cafe and now it's the Ironwood Cafe.
