Still running on those slabs of beef from last night, I pulled some diced ham from the freezer, and made a sort of str-fry with the green beans and potatoes leftover from the prime rib meal...tasted great, and didn't knock me off my feet like last evening's plate did!

Lunch was Punjabi Chhole with diced chicken on a bed of red lentils and buckwheat groats. That is chickpeas and potato curry. I can dig into that, sounds great

Just polished off my first meal service dinner -- chicken parmesan and broccoli. I can't say I got much parmesan from it, but it was flavorful and tender.

I would enjoy a visit to one of her places. This place was huge. It's also got a setup where she does cooking demonstrations.

Ate at famous Dave’s, the wait staff is excellent. The food is passable when on the road… but the “Texas brisket” is not Texas brisket.
It takes a Texan to truly pull it off.
I still try… but mine is better than Dave’s!

I still try… but mine is better than Dave’s! There's a Famous Dave's here in Branson. I had never heard of it before. Reviews aren't that great. We ate a light supper before the concert tonight as the Pickers Porch Grill. Little place in the back of a souvenir shop that was highly rated if you can find it. Really good food, we just had sandwiches, but if they do the other stuff as well it's got to be great.
