Bacon, eggs, hash browns. This package of bacon is slice so thin it must have been cut by a laser. I doubt they are 1 mm. I need to order a slab and cut my own.

I am having to eat the thinner bacon these days because of my teeth. The thick sliced bacon is actually much cheaper here. 40oz pack is $5.99 at the local grocery, while it's the same price for the 12oz thin sliced.

The smoked slabs I found were all a bit pricey for me. So, I ordered smoked Country Ham which is a better value and I prefer it to bacon. Sometimes, bacon is it, especially on a BLTAG (Bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, Green Chile).

Supper was Fish Cakes made with Mackerel packed in olive oil and lemon juice, mixed with instant mashed potatoes, Italian bread Crumps, chopped parsley, spinach, and celery. Season with pepper and dry mustard. Fried in Avocado Oil. I recommend this if you enjoy fish cakes. Lentils and rice on the side.

It's light and doesn't smoke, but it's also still a bit expensive. We actually don't fry that much. About the only things we fry anymore is salmon patties and hot water cornbread.
