A NY Strip with home made Mac and Cheese. This was weird. I doubled the amount of cheese sauce in the recipe and it all disappeared. I do not know what happened as I left it on the counter as I was about to pass out. All I can think of is the cats must have licked it all up. Just oily mac and bread crumbs left in the baking dish. Good though. If it was the cats I hope they liked it since none of them are around just now. I suspect "Louie" as he is a counter surfer. He is not called "El Tigre Peligroso" for naught. "The Fuzz Bomb" might have joined in. He, too, is a counter cat.

Got a huge Mrs. Smith's Razzleberry pie in the oven and Blue Bell ice cream on deck. That sure sounds good and I know you will enjoy it. For me, those days are over. Cancer loves sugar, reproducing through fermentation. I was advised to stay off anything sweet and minimize carbs generally. I am supposed to live on leafy greens like some kind of large herbivore with small servings of protein. Not exactly what I prefer but considering the alternative....

I really don’t consume much sugar for the most part (the baked beans are an exception)…. Never knew about sugar/ cancer relationship, maybe that explains why cancer is so prevalent. The levels of sugar in the average persons diet had exploded over the years.

The levels of sugar in the average persons diet had exploded over the years. Especially the High Fructose Corn Syrup. That is a cancer bomb. It is in so many processed foods now. I was told all sweeteners are dangerous for cancer. This includes honey, molasses, and all syrups. Even the artificial ones like Stevia. Once declared cancer free I aim to limit sugar intake but will enjoy good jams. Maybe the occasional pie. Keep it scarce. Enjoy it more. My Jones was milkshakes in the Summer time. We have a local place in town which makes their own ice cream. Their Lemongrass ice cream Milkshakes are about my favorite. Look forward to one of those!!!

From reading up on Mac and Cheese, absorption of cheese sauce is a common problem for the baked variety. Up to now, I always made it on the stove top and never had that problem. The key for baked is to coat the mac with olive oil before adding the cheese sauce. Also make the sauce thinner than what is meant to be served. Never knew that. I very seldom make it so this is new to me.

My son in law at some point was told by someone that his mac n cheese was excellent. So everytime we get together he makes a huge amount of it…. Think large aluminum turkey roast pan. To me it has the consistency of glue, and is cheese overload to the 10th power, he adds Italian bread crumbs that are suppose to be the secret that delivers excellence… not into gluey cheese.

The levels of sugar in the average persons diet had exploded over the years. Cane and beet sugar don't cause cancer, but I think corn syrup probably does. My mom had a sarcoma that took everything she ate. If she hadn't had sugar, she wouldn't have had any energy at all. Too much of anything is bad for you.

2 egg French omelette and a sausage patty. And a banana. 2 cups of coffee. 2 of MY cups of coffee. A standard cup is 6 ounces. My mugs are 15 to 17 ounces. So maybe 7 cups of coffee.

It enables the cancer cells to easily reproduce using fermentation for energy. So, the least fermentable carbs are called for and the most should be avoided. Refined sugar is the most fermentable of all which is why it is added to mash for distillation.

I think it all comes down to “All things in moderation”, the trick is figuring it out in the younger years. I am going to try and educate my kids/grandkids.
