Making another pot of Chili con Carne with Pinto beans. This time elk is the meat. Using Wolf Brand Chili without beans and NM's Bueno Red Chile for the sauce. I really like Wolf's products. They get it exactly right. Just another Texas export we cannot do without!

You start with Hot Chili - No Beans then pile on the extras ![8-)](//storage.forums.net/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) Works out pretty good every time.

Wolf Brand is pretty good canned chili. I grew up eating it, but I switched to Hormel because it had half the fat. Wolf has since cut the fat to match Hormel.

My wife made some cornbread salad and has tried telling me to try it for two days. I kept saying no, I was pretty sure I would not like salad with cornbread in it. I finally tried it and that stuff is delicious! Had a large bowl with blue cheese dressing.
(It has cornbread, bacon, beans, corn, green pepper, green onions, cheddar cheese, and tomatoes.)

Two eggs, two link sausage, potato patty, grilled whole green chile, toast. Followed by another round of Chemo pills. Sigh. Back to the slog over being overmedicated.

We'll order take out from our favorite Asian bistro up the street for dinner tonight. Janet's having the beef Mongolian stir fry with Vietnamese egg rolls; I'm going for the beef pad Thai with Korean pot stickers.
