Did the surgeon think everything looked okay, other than the one tumor? How the tumor, size of a tennis ball, has affected the surrounding layers of the colon will be determined by a lab and the results disclosed in the surgery Pathology report, two to three weeks from now. CT Scans show abnormalities in some lymph nodes so there is a risk the disease has spread. No other growths were noted in the three scans previously but neither was this tumor. Blood tests have not indicated anything negative and I sure had plenty more of those these last three days. My hands are like pin cushions from all the needles. So, I shall see what has developed. I have been bitching about the pain in my gut since October of 2022. I am thankful to finally have a Primary Care MD who did something about this. The PC MD mentioned that colon tumors are slow growing so it is possible that there has not been spreading. If there is then Oncology and Chemo likely. Not something I am looking forward to but will take it as it comes. Thanks for asking. Well, it's good the surgeon didn't find anything else out of the ordinary, at least. Hopeful you get clean bloodwork and CT, and, yes, very glad you finally have a doc who actually, you know, doctors things.

I’m sure it feels good to be home. Bet the critters were glad to see ya! It was mutually pleasurable. My one semi-feral cat, "Fuzz Bomb" ran up to me through the snow when I entered the yard crying all the way. I am the only human he can tolerate having raised him since birth. He is a Norwegian Forest Cat, a recognized breed of long haired, heavy cats that handle snow just fine. His sire is also here, asleep as usual. Dog was elated, of course. I have not seen my old donkey yet nor the goats and sheep. They are somewhat indifferent as long as someone is feeding them.

Sleep well! 😁 Had to look up the cat. Those are some nice kitties.

I have to disagree with your there, my friend. Harold Godwinson, my Ram, is pretty smart. When a pack of killer dogs entered mt place he ran to my front door and remained there,

Welp, the insurance said no to paying for the new sleep medicine my doc prescribed. I'll have to talk to my pharmacy and see what a week's worth will cost to see if it even works for me.

Having spring allergies flare up in February sucks. Try Zyrtec, Costco version= Allertec. Very cheap, few if any side effects.

Having spring allergies flare up in February sucks. The price of a mild winter, I guess. I've been a bit sneezy the last week or so, too.

A wall of weather from out the north just hit the front windows. Gonna pour down rain and maybe hail, with 20-25mph winds, while the temp drops about 30 degrees overnight. It's just possible I will not get a smoke in, this evening.

On an industrial injury the doctors are really hemmed in by the administrators of workmens comp… when I needed shoulder surgeries it was obvious that the admins tried to stall to the point that I would say to hell with it and go back to work.

50 degrees as I rolled out of bed, suppose to be near 80 deg. Today. The 7 day forecast shows some pretty decent weather for next week as I head to Monument Valley… what a difference a week makes!

I've been fighting with a flush-mount light fixture in my little covered porch area out back. The bulbs burned out, which is simple enough on the surface, but the hardware is shot, which made getting the globe off to get to the bulbs a little more interesting than I'd expected. It's also made putting the thing back together a LOT more interesting than I'd expected. Dark out, now, so it'll have to wait till tomorrow.
I may just replace the silly thing.

A new unit will have you wondering why you did not do it sooner, maybe one with motion activation to better illuminate things in the night.

Wouldn't really be all that useful in this application. Plus, I have a lot of possums and the occasional hawk doing business in my backyard. I wouldn't like the light coming on all the time.

This was a real game changer in my garage… Especially since mine was free… found it in electrical dump bin, NIB that was classified as electrical waste. That was the only good thing about the job, and the big paychecks…. There was an amazing amount of goodies that were disposed of by retailers. a.co/d/bjC9Y6L

I just put a similar one on the back porch so I could see to cook the steaks tonight. Really works well. I have another one in the shed.

A beautiful cool day today in NE Texas. Cleaned up the yard a little. Cleaned up the shop a lot, although you couldn't tell if you looked at it. Had an interesting afternoon talking with a couple of Jehovahs Witnesses and cooked steaks on the back porch so I didn't smoke up the kitchen..
