Ummm, you're . . . crazy? Seriously, though, I haven't seen that happen. Hey Urb, I like your little shooter friend! Where did you find that one? He's one of our resident emoticons. If you're on the full reply page (not the quick reply), you'll see the emoticons button above the textbox, 2nd from the right. He's in there.

When Amazon first came on the scene back in the late 90s and early aughts with its no-questions-asked, instant-refund return policy, it was a real boon for honest shoppers. Their customer support in general was absurdly good. It was probably also necessary to get their business model off the ground. Now that they dominate the retail world, they're squeezing out costs. I return .5% of the stuff we get from Amazon, so I never get a hassle.

The ATT thing was claimed to be a bad router update. I suppose that could have caused crossover with Verizon and T-Mobile. I always had a backup router when I did a system wide router update. Had one fail, but it was fixed in 2 minutes. For a company the size of ATT, I'm just glad it's not my job. Even when we had land lines, they went down pretty often. Sometimes they were down for a couple of days before we realized it.

Finally had a successful full test last weekend. It's always good to have a backup of whatever. What is it they say in the Army? Two is one and one is none?

According to that sign, the prince is part of the apple family. I guess that neatly solves the puzzle of my Sasieni 4-Dot.

After sleeping for sixteen hours the only thing I want is coffee more pain meds and another nap probably wouldn't hurt.

Diabetes the disease that keeps on giving sometimes even when you do everything the right way. Like when your team of doctors says we don't know what is causing this but you have the worst case we have ever seen.

My wife has diabetes and there seems to be a thousand complications that's attributed to it.

Do what you can to not fall into that category.

Yep, I had to do that just before hurricane Ike. Company actually moved everyone who could to Austin where the backup stuff was. It was really difficult because of trying to transfer 4 tb a day of backup over a less than 100 mbps link. I actually took 8tb of data with me on a Friday night and everyone was working off the Austin site on Monday. After the hurricane, everyone just ran on the Austin servers remotely. The Austin data center had a multi gig link to the Houston one, and I set up a system that saved the changes in the office.

Well, it seems the new sleep med is not going to work out. It's making me break out in a rash. Itching is not the most conducive thing in the world to good sleep. I left a message with the doc's office to see if he could call in something else for me to try. I take Atarax for itching, nice side effect it helps me sleep too.

Fell getting out of bed this morning just to keep things interesting. The only problem is that my feet are weak and the closest perch was on my left side after a few minutes I managed to stand up right. Those ten lb dumb bells really helped as I needed the strength of my left arm. Remember folks do a little exercise to at least keep things limber. Watched a video of Scarlet attacking her sloth and realized it won't be too long before she can stand and fall down all by herself. There is a certain joy of watching the little one's race to stand up and walk for the first time.

It was in the low 70s and mostly sunny here today. A bit blustery, but I'll happily take it for Feb.

Nice day, 82 degrees. I've been having bad pains all over every morning since I finished the prednisone. Seems it's a side effect of the Dupixent. Sigh.

87 F¿<¶g degrees today. Summer is breathing down my neck. But the wildflowers are busting out and all the fruit trees are blooming, so its not all bad. I put a seat cover on the drivers side today. After I recover, I'll attempt the passenger side.
