Sorry to read of Roxie's passing. She was much loved by her humans who did their best for her and made her a part of their family. No canine could ask for more.

So my ONCOLOGIST reported my Signaterra blood exam was negative. That is measurement of Cancer cell DNA in the blood. So, not spreading that route. Bad news, I have three "nodes" in my lungs. The largest is one centimeter. He suspects they are benign given the Signaterra results. He added they are not uncommon in our dusty state. Especially after 25 years of living with a wood stove. Pipes probably do not help. So, a PET CT Scan the end of next month to help evaluate the nodes. He presented my case to Hospital Tumor Board made up of Oncologists, Radiologists, and others. It was suggested adding Oxaliplatin to my treatment. He hesitates on this as it is quite toxic and can make quality of life not worth the trouble. We agreed to watch what happens via Signaterra test end of May and what the PET Scan shows.

I didn't need that, but I see that it's true. We've lost dogs during our marriage, and every one has been a kick in the gut. Plus, I share the grief of the other members here. I don't understand it. But it really hurts. A lot.

To me, it would feel kinda like making myself sick in case I get sick.
The dust nodes thing is interesting. Where I grew up, scarring in the lungs was common later in life. At the time, they weren't sure why. Maybe they know, now, I dunno.

It's still high and if anyone knows, they aren't saying.

Oxaliplatin will knock your you know what in the dirt as long, as you have enough extra weight to endure the ravages to your body. What they don't tell you about cancer treatment is that it starves you to death. The Russians had great success with germanium and big pharma all has drug patents pending. But remember there is no money in the cure only the treatment. www.mskcc.org/cancer-care/integrative-medicine/herbs/germanium

So, are you going to stop eating cheese? What are we supposed to do? I can't even find Italian parmesan anywhere. Pho-enix probably has one of those fancy cheese stores.

On the bridge collapse in Baltimore, I was amazed at how fast it hit the water. The first time you see the video, it looks like a half second. It should take 3.61 seconds. After watching it closely about 6 times, it did indeed take that long. I was thinking a local 3 gravities for some reason. They say that the port will be closed for months, but the government is going to cover the costs. On the gulf coast, Texas or Louisiana, they would have the channel cleared for traffic in 2 weeks or less.

The British own the port and Singapore owns the ship and insurance will fight about for years until then we get to pay for it.

I just saw that Joe Lieberman has died. I didn't often agree with him, but I think the world is diminished by his passing. May his memory be a blessing.

I don’t know, but I could go without eating cheese if I had to, and my life would not be affected. That article says that whole foods is requiring declarations on the cheeses sold there… we have one nearby.

46f in the swamp with the electric fireplace warming my bones. First morning without a pesky dog telling me it is time eto be hand fed Bordens sandwich cheese. Tilting my head back to see the computer screen imaging what birth control glasses I will pick out at the eye doctors tomorrow. Here let me sit up straight with good posture, ah that is much better. Put on four year old glasses so I can slouch properly. I think I will go back to this style of frame. There are some mornings I feel like Fred Sanford going through the eye glass drawer. Have a blessed day gents.

I also appreciate some of those I do not always agree with. A man's integrity is more important than his political beliefs.

I liked Joe Lieberman, disagreed with him on some issues, but he came across as a reasonable guy, and a decent person.

Roxie drank some water last night and some more this morning. She won't stay in her bed instead laying about two feet away on the carpet behind my office chair. Still a no go on any type of food. I talk to her but she just stares straight ahead. I know she likes to hide under the couch but we blocked all that off. Momma had to go into work to use the secure server and the skies are grey with a threat of rain 50F in the swamp y'all have the best day you can. Sorry to be negative Nancy. Sorry to hear about Roxie bro.

Eighteen hours and a fifteen hour time zone later I’m home. To quote Dorthy, “There’s no place like home.” Having said that only six months to go before the next big trip. Haha…..

Trained a new hire last Friday locally, took him to Vegas Mon-Fri. For being 26 years old he is really bright and has quite a bit of driving class A for his age. Yesterday, when we were leaving the yard, he told me that on day 2 of the Vegas run he received a call from another company that he applied for and thought that he did not get it. SRP (Salt River Project) the electrical utility company for a good part of Az. The pay and benefits are phenomenal, and at his age a bright future… you can go as far as your abilities take you there. Sad to see him go, but I told him he would be crazy to pass the job up… they are fortunate to get him.

We are definitely on autopilot.

Similar to what Dr Ali indicated when we discussed this. I certainly agree with you about Big Pharma and there business plan. So, I should start eating Geraniums? Geranium is a mineral it can be found in very old transformers, diodes and such. Russian surplus is a place you can find it. I took it for esophagus cancer under doctor supervision I lost 100lbs and have never regained the vigorous strength I once had. You know you are in trouble when you seek treatment that is one size does not fit all and the doctor asks you how much money you have in the consultation. But in the end I was cancer free and my cancer doctor was much richer. Big health insurance sucks because they won't pay for anything that is not in the category of one size fits all treatment. Everyone's opinion will vary so do your own research. in your search engine type germanium cancer treatment and the results will come up. Pay close attention to Russian and Japanese studies!

There should be a fiduciary responsibility to the patient by the doctors, hospitals, and Insurance companies...hey one can dream.
