Another fun filled action packed day visiting the medical center, today was a EKG, Blood Work, Chest Xray's and vein testing. Tomorrow is wound care and Monday is fix a stint day. Today they gave me a fall danger bracelet I wonder if the first clue was the wheel chair or two feet wrapped in bandages. The nurses amazed me with questions that left me wondering why they didn't have their own signs designed by Jeff Foxworthy. Now wound care does not have a wheel chair and that leads to a long walker journey. The walk will give me time to reflect why not one Physician was smart enough to get all this lab work done when I was in the hospital two weeks ago on my last all expenses paid retreat. Life is a journey enjoy the ride.

I got a very odd voicemail a little while ago. My phone identified the call as a telemarketer, so I ignored it. They left a message. When I played it, it was about 30 seconds of ambient room noises with something like death metal playing in the background, some heavy breathing into the phone, and then a very creepy male voice asked, "Do you really want to live forever?" And then about 10 more seconds of heavy breathing.
I mean, I met Pazuzu at a party, once, but I didn't give him my number. WTF?

Apparently they've done it enough, though, that their number has been registered as a telemarketing account.

I like the call is used to get from Internal Revenue Services, yes, with an "s". I was told US Marshalls were on the their way to my location to arrest me. However, if I paid some fee, the caller would order them to stand down. I responded "They better bring a Posse with them! and hung up.

It's a really beautiful day here, today. Bright sun, a few clouds, enough northerly breeze to keep the mosquitoes blown off me, and extremely low humidity. It feels more like a fall day than a spring. More, please.
ETA: Picaridin is an excellent mosquito repellent, btw. I've used it the last several evenings while smoking on the patio and haven't had a mosquito even approach me. Mine is Sawyer brand. YMMV.

Kind of coolā¦ I had a travel order for a patient at the Venetian hotel and casino in Las Vegas this morning. As I made the delivery a suit approached meā¦ āHello I am____ Senior VPā at the company I work for, ābreakfast is on meā.
Had one heck of a breakfast and they treated him like he is a whaleā¦ better setup than what I am accustomed to.
Found out he likes cigars, and is not adverse to smoking a pipe. His dad smoked one.
I told him next time he is in town, he needs to let me know beforehand, dinner and smoking works better. He agreed. (And his company credit card is bigger)š
Good to be home though.

Anybody see the Northern Lights tonight? I have a friend in AL who could see them, but I couldn't. She has a lot less light pollution than I do.

Cold and raining with thunder. Glad for the moisture. Really glad. It finally stopped raining here. Pond, rivers and lakes are all full. It's nice to have a break, as long as it's not 5 months until the next rain.

Solid overcast in southern Michigan last night. No aurora viewing here. š¢ I have friends in Columbus, OH who have posted pictures from last night. It has been solid overcast here all day. However, the sun is starting to peek out and it's supposed to clear up this evening. Fingers crossed.

Bright and sunny, here. Humidity's not low like yesterday, unfortunately. Today has been mowing/trimming day and the universe isn't that cooperative. But, still, it beats what I'll have all summer.
