mid 80s here. Feels good to me. I am attempting to move a galvanized sheep water tank over to the "garden" area. I aim to make another planter from it. Wore me out carrying it maybe 50 feet. Resting. Next, I have to bring over two pallets to set it upon. Then fill with earth mixes with material from the goat pen; well composted straw and poop. I sure wish I had help here. While I have been fortunate having a friend drive me to Santa Fe, no one else I have asked for help has shown up other than the expensive Forester. So, onward I labor, little by little.

Between the three of us we might get as much work done as a young guy! Had to carry the pallets from the barn, far away. Planter tank now on pallets. Tomorrow I begin filling with earth. Then I can plant the yellow squash starts. Little by little. Had to sit down for a while. I cannot believe how weak I am now.

Sorry the chemo is flogging you but moving a bathtub made out of galvanized steel is not conducive to a block party later. Onwards and upwards.

![oldcdgr](//storage.forums.net/6447321/images/juvLHSbPyjgJlrDFxGym.gif) I have to add the worst thing about my chemo and radiation was the young children waiting in wheelchairs from all over the world waiting on their appointments, if I could have traded with one I would have, I was old and had lived a good life, why not.

With all of our infirmities and misfortunes we are still blessed. Didn't sleep last night, too tired and not doing great today.

Just cleaned up my smoker. Getting it ready for 3-4 racks of ribs next weekend. Now to pick some cherries. I have a ton of bush cherries on this year. Then on to washing the truck and prepping an area I will be doing in pavers later this summer. Dad work on Dad’s day for sure.

Man!!! I feel right at home with this thread...My right knee is shot, but my A1C is too high for anyone to replace it. If I had good knees, my back gives out by time I finish drying the supper dishes; I feel I've been shifting from chair to chair for a few years, and lately, a half hours work takes me half a day...I'll be Seventy next Sunday and I had hoped I'd hold up better.

I know that feeling. Chair to chair and half a day doing what used to take an hour. All part of the plan so I adjust. Meanwhile, Herb, congratulations on reaching seven oh! Ok, a week early.

Thanks John, and you take care. Too bad we don't all live next door to each other, so we could gang up on these day to day tasks, and then enjoy the company of a giant smoke ring!

Got home about an hour ago. 7+ hours with stops and detours. There's no excuse for the continuous traffic backup in Hammond LA. Really tired. 86 degrees feeling 95 and very humid in NE Texas today.

73 and stormy here. We've had two rounds of downpours come through, already, with more on the way. At least the temps are cool.

Approved for a injection of selerosant in one operation and endovenous abolation therapy. In Engrish that means experimental glue in my veins. One pair of sexy legs coming up!

Feeling more and more like Monsieur Hulot these days. I'm not familiar with that reference.
Hereabouts today it's 80-ish and overcast. Entirely tolerable for smoking on the patio. Tomorrow is supposed to be about the same and I'm off for Juneteenth, so I figure to get some mowing done before summer reasserts itself the rest of the week and weekend.

Jacques Tati's comedic character from so many French comedies of the 1960s. Tati played the character "Hulot" in his movies. I recommend "Mr. Hulot's Holiday" for a pleasant comedy.

80 degrees, cloudy, and humid in NE Texas this morning. Started out to the post office and realized it was closed. Waiting for my son to wake up and help me wrestle the AC out of the wall in the laundry room so I can clean it. Oh joy.
