Cardiologist convinced me to put the pipes down for a while. I have to bring my BP down by a lot. Hopefully, once it is in the right range of 110-120 Systolic, I can take up an infrequent pipe. The days of a dozen bowls are over. I certainly will miss them but it will give the old briars a chance to dry out after thorough cleaning.

Don't get me wrong. Definitely listen to your doctor. Maybe you'll discover down the road, though, once you've got it under control, that you can resume a daily bowl or two without affecting your BP.

Good Saturday Morning! It's 22° here with a cloudy sky and a bit over an inch of freshly fallen snow. I'm going to spend the afternoon catching up on my postcard work, so The List is cleared. Getting the smoking day started with a bowl of Limerick Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 smooth billiard and there's the mandatory fresh mugga coffee tucked underneath my insulated work coat. Have a great weekend everybody!

Howdy. That Limerick Flake sounds good, too. Would've enjoyed some of that, Friday night. It was just too blustery to get out and smoke.

All of the heating equipment is keeping me comfortable here in the workshop. After this bowl of Limerick, I'll light up some HH Pure VA Flake.

Good morning all, like Russ we got hit with a fresh coat of snow last night. I’ve just put flame to a bowl of Presbyterian Ordained in a Dunhill Shell briar from 1964, my birth year. Today seems like a good day for chili and relaxation.

Good Morning Again! It's now 23° here with the standard cloudy sky and the dampness is causing a bit of an ache in my left replacement knee. Currently smoking a bowl of BBF in the Sav smooth billiard and there's enough for one last pipe. The remaining BBF from the eight ounce box is jarred up for aging. Time to sip my coffee and check the headline news.

Just lit up a bowl of bits 'n pieces of Wessex Brown VA Flake while slowly sipping my coffee. I also popped open a tin of fresh and filled the day jar. I'll finish this pipe and streaming video on BritBox then head back to the house.

Mississippi River in Peterson Pipe notes pipe from last year that Mark Irwin put together a small batch of sandblasted 05 shape with deluxe system. Coffee on the side waiting for it to get light enough to finish helping a friend with a few trees we did not finish last Sunday.

I slept the whole morning away, in the company of the wife and the two pups...the only bright side is, I get to enjoy some fresh coffee in the afternoon. I'm smoking a spill-tray mix of three or four burleys in a Caminetto 147, with the first coffee of the day.

Happy Saturday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee. We also got a little bit of snow early this morning. It's 23, partly sunny and breezy. I'll be making a big pot of Hungarian Goulash this afternoon.

Anyone who wants an ounce of CBG please send me a private message. I'm try to put together a list. There are 2 people on the list now, but I'm afraid I missed someone. I will give out 8 ounces because I want to keep 4 ounces for myself. Pardon my ignorance Ron but, what is CBG?

Astley's 44 in the peterson jr bulldog. It's a tiny bowl but I like it and that's all that matters.
