Good Morning! It's a mild-ish 47° here with a cloudy sky. This afternoon I have to make a post office run to mail out some packages for my wife and also get a few boxes of kitchen matches. Getting the smoking day going with a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

I was beginning to wonder about you. I'm headed to bed.

Good Morning Again! It's 48° with a still cloudy sky here right now and the forecast high temperature will be about 60°. Currently smoking a bowl of Limerick Flake in the Sav smooth billiard. Time to sip my coffee and check the headline news.

Lately, mostly C&D's From Beyond (the tobacconist near my work has a good stock of it). It's one of their Lovecraft-inspired limited editions, which drew my attention to begin with, and is a very satisfying Latakia-Virginia-Turkish-perique blend, which has kept me coming back to it.

I completely tore my bicep tendon at my elbow this afternoon, so I’m smoking my first pipe of the day while lamenting the loss of a functioning left arm.
I’m smoking Pipe Force Episode VI in a BC calabash.

They are a very local chain that I’m sure Pete (Silver) is familiar with, with three or four stores. The one I go to is attached to their main warehouse and occasionally they have tremendous deals on things. Today they had full cases of really nice, fresh lettuce for $2.00. For the whole case. I didn’t realize that full cases of lettuce weigh almost forty pounds so when I slid one off the top, it slipped and I caught it with my left arm with my arm straight, elbow locked. Apparently that was enough the way it happened. I really will need to make up a good story about how it happened though. Losing most of the use of my arm to a $2.00 case of lettuce just doesn’t sound cool enough.

I’m smoking Pipe Force Episode VI in a BC calabash. Ouch! Hope you heal as quickly as possible. Are you going to get a better discount for the lettuce? I don't shop that often at Randazzo, more of a Salvaggio guy myself.

Yikes, Ted. Are you going to have it looked at? It must be painful. I’ve been told there isn’t much to be done for it immediately, just support it and rest. An MRI in the next few weeks. Surprisingly it doesn’t hurt anything like I was expecting it would, not to say it’s painless.

Yeah, there's some kind of story about coming to the defense of a lovely fraulein or something in that injury. Probably a dragon involved.

GH Birdseye in a Peterson Billiard.
Hello all I’ve been lurking for a bit, but decided to throw my hat in the ring. Met a couple of folks from here at the ol’ Pen And Pencil in 2018 before the plague. Hello from Salem County New Jersey!
