We are Facebook friends. He posts pictures of him and his kids pretty regular. I like to keep up with the adventures of Alice.

Hello my people! It's been a lot longer than a minute. What? A year or more? (Thats how it feels)

Anyway...

Things have been up and down, back and forth, sideways and diagonal, but life is pretty good. Business is insane. It turns out that people will keep you busy when you do a quality job, answer phone calls, and show up when you say you're going to. I've been plugging along for a little over a year now, all by myself, and my only complaint is... there isn't 2 of me. I have enough worked lined up for the next 4-6 months, and new jobs coming in weekly. My plan worked. I got in with a few realtors. And the rest is history.

The kids are doing GREAT! They're in the pool right now. School had helped them so much. Alice is doing remarkable. She's still Alice, and Holy sh!t did I name her accordingly. She's curious about the whole world, and loves going on her own adventures. She loves animals, sometimes a little too much. She runs to the ditch, saying she's looking for snakes... she catches lizards and bugs... you know, little girl things! I'm still her favorite person in the world. All of theirs really, but Alice doesn't like most people.

I definitely miss AZ like crazy. I didn't really realize it until I flew out to Reno for my sister's wedding. I cried when I saw the mountains. This swamp is home, but the dessert and the mountains are where my heart is.

The divorce is almost over. Her lawyer is supposed to be writing up papers this week. About time! I have plans, but not until this is over. The only people that are going to benefit from my sacrifices and hard work are me and my children.

I've probably had a total of 12 pipes since my last login. I've just been BUSY. I definitely miss them. The pipes are collecting dust, the tobacco is collecting age. Now that it's summer time, they'll come back out. We spend most of our lives outside. Lately I've been getting in my humidor. I've almost depleted my cigar stash, I have 4 more left. I need to remedy that.

Alice is in the pool, which is basically her kennel, so I grabbed a stick because I knew I could sit down for an hour or 2, lit it up, and figured I'd check in with my long lost family.

If anyone ever wants to check in, and I'm not on here, check fb (messenger) or text me. I don't mind at all.

I just signed settlement papers about 20 mins ago. 2 1/2 years of hell, just to get what should be done in almost every custody fight. It's a relief, but there's a 6 month plan now.

The past is gone, it's no longer an issue that I have to deal with. The only thing that matters to me is NOW, and building a better future for my kiddos. They deserve it.
