Did a little work in the garden, trimming basil and pruning tomato plants. Now, another round of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob on the back deck.

Had a couple of bowls of Carter Hall in the Morgan gnarly Bones pipe. Not a bad way to spend a couple of hours on the porch. Hot out, but not oppressive. Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday afternoon.

After-dinner smoke was Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob. Now, I'm having some Five o'clock Shadow in a recently acquired, sandblasted Charaton's Make billiard.

Good Morning! It's 65° with a clear sky here at dawn and the high temperature will hit 95°. This afternoon I have to take my wife to the hospital wound care clinic. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 67° here now as the sun rises from behind the neighborhood trees. Currently smoking a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake in the MM Mark Twain cob fitted with a long, straight Vermont Freehand Forever Stem. Time to sip some more coffee and check the headline news.

Good morning!
It's been a bit of an unusual morning for me. Those who have been reading my posts in the "What are you smoking" thread know I don't wander far from the path of my usual burleys and aros. Today, for something different I opened a can of Loch Ness that I bought on a whim a few months back. I can't even imagine why I bought it, because it is quite different than what I usually aim for. Anyway, I was surprised to see the cake tobacco in the can. I broke off a bit and rubbed it out and loaded up my Nording Spruce and went outside on the porch to have a smoke. I immediately liked the flavor of this unusual tobacco. Quite pleasant for sure! I couldn't help but thinking that I would really enjoy this tobacco even more on a cool, rainy evening. Very nice! If that first bowl is any indication, I will be enjoying this blend on a semi-regular basis. Now it makes me wonder what else I may have been missing. I've yet to look up the tobacco to see what it is comprised of, but I already know I am quite fond of it.
The day is very comfortable, mid 70s. Will be heating up later, but that is to be expected this time of year in Georgia... and most other places I'm sure. Ran my Marlin app while I was smoking, it picked up a huge variety of birds in my vicinity, including Wild Turkeys, which I thought was very cool.
Hope everyone in the Patch has a great week. I'm really glad to be a part of this place.
Blessings!
Sketch

Jack, it's a whole world out there. So many great tobaccos. I like to try them all and I have many more winners than losers. I have a couple of dozen tins I haven't opened yet, all with some age on them.

Happy Monday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and coffee on the front porch. Everything's wet from an early morning thundershower. It's 73, partly sunny and humid here. It'll get into the 90s all week.

Just finished smoking whatever was left in my baccyflap. Carter Hall and Peretti's Whiskey Cavendish, maybe? Whatever it was it was quite tasty. I approve. Smoked in my Stanwell Vario. Also listening to the cicadas. First time I've heard them here this Summer.

I’ll just say most of the Drucquer blends are pretty complex and all of them I’ve tried are tasty. If you’re going to explore, you could do worse than trying some of their other blends.

Good afternoon all. I am smoking Drucquer and Sons Inns of Court in a Peterson bent Apple. I agree with Urbino on the Drucquer and Sons blends, if you like burley you might give Inns of Court a spin. It’s a favorite of mine, probably my most frequently smoked blend.
We’re heading into a heat wave here as I imagine quite a few are, it’s June after all. I hope you all have a good evening.
