91 and humid outside. I'm in the coolness of the cave with a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob. Gotta head back outside to grill some chicken soon.

Ed-given up on ID most bowl shapes, too many similar

Good afternoon all. I am smoking Drucquer and Sons Inns of Court in a Peterson bent Apple. I agree with Urbino on the Drucquer and Sons blends, if you like burley you might give Inns of Court a spin. It’s a favorite of mine, probably my most frequently smoked blend. We’re heading into a heat wave here as I imagine quite a few are, it’s June after all. I hope you all have a good evening. One of my top ten for sure, Dan! Lovely blend.

Love that pipe! I'm one for natural finishes.

Love that pipe! I'm one for natural finishes. Thanks. It's a mite darker than that, now, but it is a pretty close to natural, nearly-matte finish.

Good Morning! It's already 72° here with a mostly cloudy sky. This afternoon I have to make a Home Depot run for some garden hose repair fittings, a new hose, and nozzle. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one, everybody!

Good morning, today is starting with Sun Bear in a Ser Jacopo Apple. It is warm already, but a soft enough breeze to make things comfortable. We’re supposed to be pushing the high 90’s by the weekend, so I’ll take the nice weather while we have it. Just about perfect pipe smoking conditions. Have a good one all!

Good Morning Again! It's 73° now with a partly cloudy sky and bright sunshine streaming through the neighborhood trees. Today's high temperature will be in the 90°s. Currently smoking a bowl of Fillmore in the MM General cobwarden while sipping my coffee. Time to check the headline news.

Happy Tuesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Tuesday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 83, very humid with just a whisper of a breeze here. Headed into the 90s again. Not doing much outside work today.

Good day! It's been a pleasant morning on the porch. Smoked some Otter Creek in a Nording Signature. Very quiet in the neighborhood this morning. Listened to the bird songs and cicadas. Inside now, watching some Appalachian Trail hikers on Youtube.

Peterson's Perfect Plug in a Peterson 106 from 1970. It has lost a bit of the meerschaum lining but still smokes well after all these years.

After that I'm going to stay inside...too hot to smoke out on the deck.

I've retreated to the coolness of the subterranean smoking lair and workshop. Working on some pipes and smoking Friar's Bayou in the barrel-shaped meerschaum.

Seems a good day to enjoy the ac, it’s pretty hot and humid here in the mid Atlantic as well. I’m having a bowl of Inns of Court in a Sasieni billiard, accompanied by a nice tall glass of ice water.

We used to call it " the zone " when a basic, middle of the road tobacco steps up and knocks your socks off; it's happening to me now, as I enjoy what has to be the best bowl of Half & Half I've ever smoked, in a Savinelli Estella 121 KS.

I’m sitting on my front porch. It’s a beautiful day – 92°F. The real feel is 99°. I am smoking BCA in a Vauen Gap with a 9mm charcoal filter. Wonderful!
