Happy Saturday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 62 and sunny, with a light breeze here. I think I'll just sit here and enjoy some of the morning before I decide my next move.

Burn outs are typically repaired by inserting a briar plug and refinishing. I wouldn't expect that to just fall out, though. Agreed as the plug is epoxied in.

Another bowl of Friar's Bayou in the barrel-shaped meerschaum. Get this - I'm putting up Christmas lights. Actually, wrapping the trunks of a couple Star Magnolias that live at the end of the deck for a little nighttime interest.

Good Afternoon! It's a beautiful day out here on the deck...75°, a cool breeze blowing by, bright sunshine, and some white clouds navigating their way through the sky. I just cleaned a couple of pipes while smoking a bowl of Fillmore in the Stanwell Silver Mount blasted billiard. Streaming smooth jazz and a glass of water on the side.

Good evening from Greece. No it's not from USA, is from Athens last year classic cars show. Yes, we have American classic cars here. I am smoking Poul Winslow Harlekin in a Corn Cob.

Had a bite to eat. Now, time for some Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob. A mug of cold water accompanies. 76 and cloudy here. Might get a little rain this evening.

I'm glad Greeks like classic American muscle cars, but in America, that car is the epitome of poor taste. Fun though. 😁

Moved back to the front porch. I've got some Kelly's Coin in the barrel-shaped meerschaum. I took some out of the tin and let it dry. A little too moist straight outta the can. Pretty robust flavor wise.

I’ve been in the process of moving and setting up a new workshop for the last couple of months, focused first on the tools and machines, now I’m down to the final stage, moving all of my tables, benches etc., which I loaded in my truck yesterday and just got finished unloading today. Definitely feeling some age, my bones don’t seem to be fitting as tightly together as usual 😐. Im back to smoking my small batch blend of PS81 and Perique, in a vintage Stanwell HCA.

How's the biceps? At about 60% of pre-injury level, not expected to get much more than that. Thanks for asking.

Yeah, as long as I stop and think about how I’m lifting and moving things, I’ve been able to compensate pretty well. Just another thing in a progressively longer list of things that there’s really nothing to do but adapt to and push on.

Just Carter Hall in a MM Cob for me today. I always wonder what they put in there. It's a pretty regular otc blend, actually kind of boring to me. But for some reason I always go back for it. I always have a can of Carter Hall.

How you lift can really mitigate issues, especially with shoulders lifting closer to the body is recommended. I had major torn bicep, rotator cuff, labrum in both shoulders post op, I started doing things differently, and although I sometimes wale at night with an achy shoulder, I stop sleeping on my side and it goes away. Daytime, never any issues…. iI lift a lot at work, and I think it is beneficial.
