I’ve still been sticking with my PS81 blends throughout the day, but I felt like kicking up the N, so I’ve switched to GH Dark Plug for the rest of the evening. I’m smoking it in an AKB meerschaum that I haven’t had out to play for a while, old photo from when I first got it, it’s not quite as white now 🙂.

Good Morning! It's already 73°, humid, and with a partly cloudy sky here at dawn. This afternoon I have to take my wife to the hospital for a routine appointment at the pulmonary clinic. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the BBB Two Star Special smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Just lit up a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake in the MM Mark Twain cob while sipping my coffee and watching another Boris Karloff Mr Wong detective movie, "Doomed to Die", on YouTube.

Good morning all. Inns of Court with my coffee today in my Ser Jacopo Calabash. Weather is just all around tropical and hot, thank goodness we got the ac updated earlier this summer. I spent the weekend in Central Pa, for the purpose of attending my wife’s family reunion. Instead we spent a lot of time in Mount Nittany Medical Center after my mother in law developed chest pain and heart attack symptoms. Luckily it was not a heart issue and all turned out well. I was planning on stopping by Boswell’s, but the medical emergency pre-empted those plans. I packed a single pipe and my tin of Hal O’ the Wynd, and contrary to internet lore, you really can smoke the same pipe repeatedly over the course of a few days. I brought the pups back yesterday while my wife stays with her mother for a bit. Hope you all have a good one! I hope she's coming along much better this evening, Dan, it's good that she had all the family around when she needed them. I started the day with P.S. Proper English in a sandblasted pot marked, Gefapip, two bowls back to back...now I'm smoking the same blend in a Brebbia apple, coffee on the side. Thanks Herb. She’s doing better. My wife and I were saying it was good we were close by.

Good morning all, I’m smoking my old standby Inns of Court, in another old standby, a 1952 Dunhill shell billiard. We’re stuck in a very hot and humid pattern, so I’ll probably be shut in in the AC again today. Hope you all have a good one!

Happy Tuesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Tuesday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 79, sunny, breezy and humid here. Headed to 90, and everything's still wet from the overnight rain. No plans for any outdoor work. Just need to check on the garden.

Plum Pudding S.R. in a Brebbia apple. I’ve got a few of the other F&T blends in the cellar with a few years of age on them and I’ve not tried any of them yet. In all these years. Looking forward to them.

Errand running with my wife. Required two bowls - Haunted Bookshop and Friar's Bayou. Tuesday cob. I'm back on the front porch. 86, partly sunny and humid with an intermittent breeze. I'll have another bowl of Friar's Bayou, this time in the barrel-shaped meerschaum. Mug of cold water accompanies.

I nearly smoked Mick McQuaid after seeing Darin earlier. I had to dig into my stash for my jar of Mick McQuaid. Smoking it in a wee, sandblasted Pete Irish Harp.

Some heavy storms are moving through, and Jupiter hates thunder. So I’m smoking a small bowl of Dark Bird’s Eye in a clay, with Jupe curled at my feet, and Hyacinth had it with us all and put herself to bed. I love the sound of distant thunder.

Smoking some arrowhead in my bings favorite. Just got back home from my parents. Getting to spend time with my dad is good. I wish he knew how much I like when he makes time for me. He's a farmer and if he's not at the farm he's fishing. It was a good night.
