I’ve still been sticking with my PS81 blends throughout the day, but I felt like kicking up the N, so I’ve switched to GH Dark Plug for the rest of the evening. I’m smoking it in an AKB meerschaum that I haven’t had out to play for a while, old photo from when I first got it, it’s not quite as white now 🙂. She’s a beaut!

Good Morning! It's 72° with a cloudy sky and very humid here at first light. This afternoon I have laundry to catch up on since I'm not going anywhere. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Upshall smooth quarter-bent Dublin and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Just lit up a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake in the MM General cobwarden while sipping my coffee and watching yet another Boris Karloff Mr. Wong detective movie, "The Fatal Hour".

Happy Wednesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee on the front porch. We just had a stray shower pass through the neighborhood. It's 72 and the sun's peeking through the clouds.

Good morning! It's a perfect day to be on the mend from a week long of migraines and illness. The temperature is at 73 this morning with a gentle rain. It was the perfect day to enjoy a couple of bowls of tobacco on the front porch. Literally no traffic. The only thing happening is a yard full of robins and barn swallows flying above. Enjoyed a bowl of Carter Hall and another of Peretti Whiskey Cavendish, both in my Sav 320. Now I'm inside watching a few youtube videos and seasoning a 12" Lodge cast iron pan. Hope everyone is having a pleasant day!

Good Afternoon! It's 75°, very humid with a mostly cloudy sky out here on the deck and a rain shower is on the way soon. Enjoying a bowl of Scottish Flake in the MM Washington 5th Avenue cob and there's some leftover coffee in the mug.

It's gotten sunny and a fair bit hotter, but still comfortable enough in the shade of the porch to enjoy another bowl of Peretti's Whiskey Cavendish. This time in my Stanwell Vario billiard.

Finished with yard work for today. Haunted Bookshop in the Country Gent on the back deck. Fed the peppers, eggplants, cucumbers and potted flowers. Watered everything not planted directly in the ground. I figured 6" of rain in the last week took care of them. I'll feed the tomatoes and roses tomorrow.

A short, but heavy storm blew through here about 45 minutes ago. I think we've reached our rain quota for this month and August. I'm in the cave, with a bowl of Riverboat Gambler in the barrel-shaped meerschaum.

Good afternoon all, I’m smoking Hal O’ the Wynd in a Peterson spigot Apple. I had to take the truck to get inspected this morning(it passed) so missed my morning smoke. It’s unusually hot and humid here, with storms expected this evening again. This latest front should break the extreme heat spell we’ve been stuck in. It can’t get here soon enough.
I picked up a nice strip steak and sweet corn on my errands today, so there’s something to look forward to for dinner. Have a good evening!

Good Evening! It's 79°, cloudy, and rather humid out here on the deck. We've had some heavy downpours this afternoon, but no more rain is in the forecast as a cool front is sweeping into the region. Smoking another bowl of Scottish Flake, this time in the Kaywoodie Relief Grain apple and there's a glass of cold water on the side.
