Friar's Bayou in the barrel-shaped meerschaum. That cigar was pushing all the wrong buttons.

Good Morning! It's 65° with a mostly cloudy sky here at first light. This afternoon I have to make a supermarket run. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Amorelli smooth bent Three Star and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 67° with a cloudy sky and humid here right now and I think that we'll get some rain today. My first bowl of HH Pure VA Flake lasted well over an hour and I just lit up a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake in the MM Mark Twain cob. Time to sip some more coffee and check the headline news.

Sutliff's Toasted Burley, with a dash of my Carolina Blue, to slow the burn rate and add a bit of sweetness. The pipe is my Lumberman, and the coffee is fresh, blond, and hot.

Happy Monday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and coffee on the front porch. Gonna head into the backyard and check on the garden. 80, mostly cloudy and very humid with a light breeze. Rain likely today.

Back on the front porch. Friar's Bayou in the barrel-shaped meerschaum. Had a few raindrops. The real rain is due in about an hour, or not.

Good afternoon, earlier today I had a bowl of Old Gowrie in a Charatan Zulu while I roasted this month’s batch of coffee beans. A few errands and activities later, most importantly a game of fetch in the pool with the dogs, I’m smoking a Peterson rusticated spigot bent billiard. The bowl is filled with G L Pease Navigtor from a freshly opened tin labeled January 2020. This is a favorite blend that really comes into its own after a few years in the tin. Enjoy your evening fellow patchers!

Frog Morton on the Town in the Dr Grabow Golden Duke, Diet Coke on the side. Frog Morton on the Town was the first non-aromatic I smoked after taking up the pipe. It was a true revelation for me, and got me truly interested in the hobby. When I revisited it a little while later I liked it, but it didn’t blow me away. Still a quality smoke from a great producer!
