I read this twice while wondering if I missed an earlier post about John baking bread or something today before it clicked 😃. It’s too late for me to be reading. John doesn't always drink beer. But when he does it's Grain Belt.

Haunted Bookshop in the Tuesday cob on the front porch. A little, very light, rain off and on. Not enough to get anything wet.

But when he does it's Grain Belt. My dad used to buy that stuff… and Buckhorn beer. Old Milwaukee was top shelf for him. Kind of what one would think monkey piss might taste like.

Good Evening! It's 81°, humid with a mostly cloudy sky, and occasional sunshine out here on the deck. I just cleaned a few pipes while smoking a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Stanwell 29 smooth billiard. Listening to streaming rock oldies and there's a bottle of cold water on the side. Have a great night everybody!

After-dinner smoke time. Haunted Bookshop in the Tuesday cob on the back porch, wishing the breeze was a little stronger.

Smoking some prince albert in my mm country gentleman cob and just imagining the man my great grandpa was. He met me but I don't remember. He died when I was only an infant. I was told he smoked prince albert religiously either in a pipe or he would roll it up into a cigarette. My grandma says I look and sound just like him so I thought it only fitting to give it a try.

Good Morning! It's 67°, humid, and with a cloudy sky here at dawn. Today is going to be a hot one with a high temperature of 90° and sometime this afternoon I have to make a pharmacy run. Getting the smoking day going with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the BBB Freestyle smooth bent billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 69°, still humid with a partly cloudy sky and bright sunshine streaming through the neighborhood trees. Just lit up a bowl of Wessex Brown VA Flake in the MM Mark Twain cob. Time to sip some more coffee and check the headline news.

Good morning all, I’m hitting the Navigator again, this time in a Sasieni straight Prince. Humid and warm here beside the lake. We have a new family of herons that took up residence by the water, and I’ve enjoyed watching them poke around this morning. It’s a very peaceful start to the day.

Happy Wednesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 82, humid and sunny with a light breeze here. Headed close to 90 with possible rain later. Don't think I'll be doing much work outside today.

I’ve mostly been smoking one of my PS81 blends through the day. It’s actually made me happy to have come up with some blends that I keep reaching for over and over. I’m smoking a blend of 90% PS81, 6% Perique and 4% DAC, lightly cased with apricot extract in an Ehrlich meerschaum.

Good Afternoon! It's 90° with a hazy sky, breezy, and bright sunshine out here on the deck. I'm smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the MM Washington 5th Avenue cob instead of the usual Scottish Flake for a change and is lighter for smoking in this heat. Listening to streaming rock oldies and there's a glass of cold water on the side.

Out and about for a good part of the day with my wife. Ended up stopping somewhere for dinner. Had a pouch of Friar's Bayou and the barrel-shaped meerschaum along for the drive.
