Good Morning! It's 71° with a cloudy sky here and rain is on the way. Nothing much planned for this afternoon. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Amorelli smooth bent Three Star and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one everybody!

Good morning, last night's final bowl was my own "Morning Fog", go figure. The mix is made up of two ounces of McClelland Pastry, one and a half tins of Sutliff's East Farthing, and about a half ounce of Dark burley 702 from Stokkebye...East Farthing didn't work for me own it's own; some folk speak of it and Frog Morton in the same sentence, but I when fresh I just couldn't make that connection. I ended up with three 1/2 pint jars of sweet smelling black tobacco with traces of brown and gold running through it, and it still didn't ring any bells for me... Last night I found that time had worked it's magic on this mix, and having smoked half a tin of F.M.O.T.T. over the past few days, I think the flavor here falls somewhere between Frog Morton, and Watch City's Old Black Magic...like brownies with latakia...smoking very cool, with thick clouds of smoke, this will not go to waste! This morning I'm smoking Morning Fog/ F.M.O.T.T. 50/50 in the Old dominion Stack billiard, with a big ole mug of Maxwell House.

Happy Friday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob and coffee on the front porch. 71, humid and overcast here. Had some rain early this morning. Shaping up to be a wet weekend.

2006 McClelland Blakeney’s Best Acadian ribbon in my new Radice Rind Oom Paul. It was an estate pipe that was very lightly** smoked, close to new. Sweet!

I was feeling like something a little more substantial than usual for the afternoon, so I’m smoking GH Brown Bogie in a Savinelli 315KS.

No smokes for me tonight, watching two granddaughters in their home where mom and dad went out. It would be fine if I smoked, but they do not. Nice thing about pipe smoking… never a need for me, only a want.
No big deal.

The rain has helped, the smell is either mostly gone now, or I’ve grown accustomed to it and can’t detect it anymore. Turbo, when I was a kid my dog should find two or three skunks a year. The only way to get rid of the smell was to wash her in tomato juice. It worked well and got rid of the odor completely. I don’t know what it would do on the siding.

I didn’t have any, but I saw a number of recommendations for half water half white vinegar so I went with that and it actually seemed to work. Luckily I had a whole gallon of that.
