The grass is cut, gardens watered and weeds pulled. I'm on the back deck with a bowl of Friar's Bayou in the Saturday cob. Cold beer accompanies.

I'm trying to decide if I want to avoid going out for a smoke because I don't want to get any hotter than I have to, or if the temp inside the house is so similar to outside, anyway, sitting outside won't be any different.

Might be a good time to head to a cigar lounge and enjoy a comfortable smoke!

Going to have a few bowls of 2021 Sir Walter Raleigh in a Let Freedom Ring 5th ave cob with dark orange swirl short fishtail stem while reading. Need to start smoking this stuff. I bought two of the large 14 Oz. tubs when they went out of production but I never smoke any of it and the tubโs sat for over two years full and open, still at the right smoking moisture content from all the humectant. I tend to like tiny hands-free pipes for reading. Contrary to popular belief, Oom Pauls donโt really work for me while reading. Iโve bought several for the purpose but they are too distracting and put the smoke right directly into my eyes. I guess Iโm due for a couple tiny French briars for reading.

Per Jensen Paradoxical in another self-made, rusticated, slightly bent billiard. On the back porch, nice night. The neighbor on one side is watching football in his garage, neighbor on the other side has friends over on her patio.

Some Autumn Evening in a century old meerschaum. Good stuff. ๐ Autumn Evening is one of my favourite tobaccos. Try The Country Squire's Hunting Creek. It's amazing. I bet you will love it.
