Good Morning! It's 49° here with a clear, starry sky and moonlight. Today and tomorrow the high temperature will be in the upper 70°s before returning to more seasonable weather. This afternoon I have to take my wife to the hair salon. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Happy Monday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and coffee on the back porch. It's 63, sunny and breezy here. Might reach 80 degrees today. Plenty of things to do in the garden.

Good Afternoon! It's 77° with a light breeze, clear sky and bright sunshine out here on the deck. I'm smoking a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake in the MM Washington 5th Avenue cob while listening to streaming soft music and there's a glass of cold water on the side. The neighborhood is quiet and just right for more reading.

Not sure when I will get to enjoy this one, but 'twill be Scottish Cake in the GBD Digby, with the repaired split, Canadian.... Still a great smoker!
A large sweet tea or water alongside when it happens...

Missouri Meerschaum’s Rockin’ Earl 155th Anniversary blend in a new MM Pirate Poker. Holy quality control issues, Batman. The poker is supposed to sit, it doesn’t even when packed full. It’s very tiny compared to pictures though I knew it was small and bought it for that reason. I got a tin of Pipe Force V with this order and the tin was open and fully dried to a complete crisp! I’ve reached out to MM, never had this with one of these round tins before now. Rockin’ Earl - Aromatic blend of burley, bright and red, and a good dose of Latakia. Tasting notes of Earl Grey tea, vanilla, pound cake, lemon zest, and cedar smokiness. Blended by The Country Squire.
A through and through, same old same old Sutliff aromatic mixture of the same of 150 blends I’ve been had on before, But the flavors sounded awesome and what a weird combo. Thing is though, I can’t put my finger on it, but it smells exactly like another Sutliff aro I’ve had. The flavor is however interesting. A mild Sutliff crossover aromatic English similar to many others but I do get an Earl Grey flavor with some lemon cake.  |
