Good Evening! It's a very mild 76° with thin, high clouds and muted sunshine out here on the deck. I'm recovering from grocery shopping with a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake in the MM General cobwarden and there's a glass of ice and sugar-free ginger ale on the side. Have a great night everybody!

On the back porch with a bowl of Friar's Bayou in the Wednesday cob and a mug of once-hot tea. 77, hazy sunshine and windy. Watching the leaves getting blown around.

Oh my God, HU tobaccos just listed on SmokingPipes! Almost all already sold out. Ordered some Fayyum, Indaba, Makhuwa, and Nyala. Really wish I’d known about this ahead of time and I would’ve gotten Edward G. , Director’s Cut, and Balkan Passion. Been missing these for a decade since running out of my last tins.

I didn’t see the thread or email until after the fact, or check on forums the past week, unfortunately.

I had a confounding issue with identifying a pipe: thebriarpatchforum.com/thread/11098/help-logos?page=1&scrollTo=477571Turns out, the Skeleton Key stamp is from Joe Hinkle, artisan pipe maker...I found him at the Las Vegas Pipe Show..."Yeah, that is one of my early ones". I had three offers to buy it there, not happening a great smoker. Smoking Happy Brown Bogie 2014 in... a Hinkle Prince. The Bogie is from 2014, and as it cures it actually shrinks but gets more moist...using the microwave method (for this blend and age 10 seconds X 3, toss the tobacco between nuking as it is on a paper towel) Perfect slight crunch for smoking.

Slightly delayed after-dinner smoke time. Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob. Hockey and the World Series on the tube. Almost time for a ginger ale!

I smoked LBF today, but I’m switching to Peterson’s Irish Flake right now in a Savinelli 315KS.

I was not only the remote, but I had to hold the rabbit ears. Good thing he didn't have you adjust the roof antenna! At my sister's house one of my nephews was always going to the roof to adjust the antenna. Seriously, like 3 times a day or more.

Good Morning! It's 62° here with a cloudy sky and one of the workshop doors is wide open. This afternoon I have to take my wife to her doctor's appointment and, after that, I may just make a Home Depot run for some HVAC filters. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Happy Halloween! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob and coffee in the cave. It's 64, cloudy and windy here. Rain is on the way, might be wet for the trick-or-treaters tonight. I'll be making a pot of chili to take to daughter and son-in-law's house.
