Good Morning! It's 47° here with a clear, starry sky. This afternoon I have to make a quick pharmacy run and make a few phone calls. Good morning, I’m smoking more King Charles mixture in a Dunhill shell briar. I managed to partly break a tooth, so I’ve been going light on the smoking. The pain is manageable so far, but the tooth needs to be pulled and there’s a decent wait to get in to see the oral surgeon. So I’ll go light on the smoking for a bit. Other than that the weather has been perfect here, although the folks in the path of Milton are in my prayers. I hope you all have a good one!

Morning team, I have S.W.R.A. in a Savinelli Deluxe Milano 118 with my usual coffee. we'll be jarring up the apple-butter we made yesterday, this afternoon, and making apple jelly from the by-products.
Looks like I'll have an apple a day for a good while; we only used half a case for this run. Our last batch, back in 06 was a three case run, but we were younger and didn't tire like we do these days.
Another fine October day ahead, get out and enjoy it if you can!

Good Morning Again! It 56°, breezy with an almost clear sky and bright sunshine out here on the deck. As Herb said, this is another fine October day. I'm smoking a bowl of Wessex Brown VA Flake in the Stanwell Silver Mount blasted billiard and my travel mugga leftover coffee is tucked in my jacket pocket. I think that I'll just sit and enjoy the morning before doing some reading.

Happy Wednesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob and coffee on the back porch. It's 55, sunny and breezy here. Sitting in the sun to stay warm.

I looked high and low throughout my collection, and while I did find a tomato, not one turnip could be found. It might even be against the law to smoke turnips in the Old Dominion...you can weed the turnip patch, and smoke the weeds if you like, but turnips are off limits! |
