The guests have gone to their respective hotels, a lot of food leftover. E eryone else has gone to bed. I'm on the side porch with a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob, then off to dreamland.

Good Afternoon ALL! I read in the news today that the use of three periods in text messages will drive millennials crazy... I find that amusing... A nice bowl of Scottish Cake (gifted from a friend, good stuff!) in the Berkeley Bent... A small cup of coffee on the side... It's going to be a busy weekend for my household. Tomorrow I will be preaching at the local nursing home. A group of us go and sing, and bring the Word to those that are residents of the facility. They can't get out so we come to them... Sunday morning I will be preaching at my new church in the morning and in the afternoon I will be ordained. Later in the day I will attend a memorial service for a friend that passed away a week ago and conclude the day with the evening service back at my church. Our country is in a mess right now. Please pray for America and the world. So, its light up another bowl and back to the books to prepare... Have a Great Weekend All...  You are a bit evil, preacher. I love it! 😜 We all have a little evil in us! What we do with it is what counts! 😂 |

Good Morning! It's 35° here with a clear, starry sky and all of the heating appliances are up and running... heating pad, foot warmer, and the workshop heater. This afternoon I have to put new mounting bolts in the bathroom wall in order to keep that blasted towel bar from falling off. Again. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Upshall smooth quarter-bent Dublin and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Happy Friday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in a cob and coffee on the side porch. It's 50 with clear skies here. Brunch is being made, the bride and her bridesmaids are upstairs dealing with hair and makeup. The guys are hanging around a TV.Im taking in a little peace and quiet while I can.

I fitted a Hardcastle Jack of London Briar with a new stem. It has not been smoked in several years. Now filled with Gawith Hoggarth Rum Flake which I am enjoying. Nice to have this pipe back. It was always a good smoker.

Good Saturday Morning! It's 51° with a clear sky here at dawn and the workshop heater is running on the low setting just to warm up the place a bit. This afternoon I have to make a supermarket run for a few things.
