Now smoking Sam Gawith Cabbie’s Mixture in a smooth straight pre-transition Barling 313 T.V.F. EXEXEL pot with a black ebonite stem. Thought I'd break in the new-to-me Barling wth a VaPer. Picked up a paneled 1970s Jeantet (made by Chacom), a new meer especially made for me, a late 1970 Charatan "Special" pot, and a 1980's Big Ben pot.

Good to have you back JimInks - You the man. Smoking 2017 Christmas Cheer in a bent MM General. Hadn't smoked a General in a long time. Packing the heal a little tight and the rest of bowl light the rest of the way up the bowl works great for me with Burley or Va but I still need a good sit for a while to enjoy the whole smoke. No back to back comparison but I remember the 2016 Christmas Cheer enjoyed over the holidays being slightly less tart and perhaps a little sweeter; nevertheless, that's admittedly really splitting hairs. They could also be exactly the same and my taste buds have altered. Both are great smokes and should age extremely well. Drinking Coors Light after giving the lawn a quick buzz cut and watching News Hour on PBS in the work barn.
