Very intellectual bunch, if you look at the History books and Jung's and Programming etc. How about just a plain old simple good story book?

Very intellectual bunch, if you look at the History books and Jung's and Programming etc. How about just a plain old simple good story book? Man I wish there was time for that, I always try to reread the Dresden Files books, and make it to about book 6 before life shuts down my fun. I wouldn't mind another read through of Ian Irvine's A View From The Mirror quartet either...

Reading a collection of writings by Carl Jung (yeah, him again). The book is "The Portable Jung". Hey, he smoked a pipe! And reading Jung requires smoking a pipe, too, in order to slow down enough to understand him.

Stalingrad I have read, Beevor is an excellent read as an authoritive historian of the Second World War , he refers to Vasily Grossman's on the ground account of Stalingrad, as a Soviet journalist and author of the novel of Stalingrad , Life and Fate. Next a biography of Queen Elzabeth the Queen Mother.

Reading a collection of writings by Carl Jung (yeah, him again). The book is "The Portable Jung". Hey, he smoked a pipe! And reading Jung requires smoking a pipe, too, in order to slow down enough to understand him. I went through a period where I read Joseph Campbell's Mask of God series and Sir James Frazier's Golden Bough, and started reading some of Jungs collected work in our Central City library, but I was deflected by the work of the "salt mine" such is life. the life of Troost in the stocks !

In addition to paper books, I also keep a stock of digital books on my phone. I don't read them often, but occasionally I'll have them when I need them.

Liber Null & Psychonaut: An Introduction to Chaos Magic by Peter J. Carroll Where on earth did you find a copy of this? Is it a digital edition? I looked for a long time for that, couldnt come up with anything but a scanned pdf of the book that was nearly unreadable
