What I need to know is what in the name of everything that is gracious are "bergs". Must be a regional idiomatic term for water with ice or something.
P&C sent some out for free awhile back as extra "goodies" ... large ice cubes, basically:

Since I coined the term, it is short hand for "floaty li'l icebergs". These bergs were hand carved from the mean and dastardly big berg that savagely attacked the poor innocent Titanic, and are paw delivered by our trusty Saint Bernard to our long list of clients. That is, when he's sober.

I just ordered one of the last (as I understand it) remaining cases of Delaware Punch. I can't wait.

M'lady got a good deal on cases of bottled soft drinks today: Boylan's Root Beer, Cheerwine, Nehi Grape, and Mountain Dew, all made with pure cane sugar. And she got a few new-to-me drinks to try.

I will second JimInks recommendation of Boylan's sodas, particularly the Birch Beer ( NOT the Creamy Red Birch Beer) as well as the Root Beer and Cola. I like the Pepsi and Dr. Pepper (with "real" sugar). I can't/won't drink the High Fructose Corn Syrup sh*t anymore. Also, I want to recommend St. Stephens Ginger Beer for all you Ginger Beer lovers. It's the best one I have tried.

The "real" Dr. Pepper is good... makes the regular store version undrinkable by comparison. I'll see if I can find the St. Stephens Ginger Beer. Thanks for the heads up.

Ronv69 I don't think I have had a Delaware Punch in thirty years. My mother used to love that stuff.

You bet Jim on the recommendation. Also, I wanted to correct myself and the spelling I gave for AJ Stephans. It is AJ Stephans, and NOT St. Stephens. It'll make finding it easier.

As Kickapoo Joy Juice was a fictional drink started in Al Capp's Li'l Abner newspaper strip, and became a soft drink for consumers in 1965, I always had it in my mind to try it when I found out some years back. I did earlier this day. It's a carbonated citrus drink that remind me of a fizzier, less flavored Mountain Dew. Oh well...

Yes TAb is still made sales are so low that Coca Cola does not keep track of it's sales. That raises the question of......why is it still made then? Is there an ulterior motive? After all, if it doesn't sell, why continue selling it?

Not really sure, maybe regional. I love Mr Pipp but could not get in Nevada except from Mikey D's fountain. The Cheerwine Soda is only available from Specs here in the Houston area. The Tab was spotted by the wife and myself at a Dollar General. We asked the clerk about it and was told it comes in every week with the stock order.

Been reading all about cigars lately, and Vanilla Creme Soda pairs nicely with them. I've never tried it.

Loved this stuff back in the day. This reminds me of Falstaff beer jokes that the put a picture of the brewery on the label. 😆 What DID it taste like? And where did you get it?

I got the Delaware Punch today and it was wonderful. Probably not as good as it was 50 years ago, but I am satisfied. You can still get it at Jame's Cone Island restaurants around town, but you get tired of over-paying for hot dogs. One of my greatest days involves Delaware Punch. In 1969 I graduated high school with my friend who had family in Mexico City. We drove down having a good time all the way. We went to the Teotehuacan pyramids and climbed the Pyramid of the Sun. When we got down, we were wiped out. Try climbing the biggest pyramid in the west hemisphere starting at 8k feet in the middle of June. I drank 7 both one after another and my friend drank 8. What a day!
