Anyone besides me think the whole "Daylight Savings Time" thing is a waste of effort? The employers can just set the working hours an hour earlier. I see many disadvantages to it, like kids walking to the bus stop or school in the dark. It's meaningless for businesses which run three shifts. If you work rotating shifts,or just the night or graveyard shift, you sleep during the daylight often. Thankfully my smart phone changes time automatically.

I had an appointment at the Ann Arbor VA, which is 130+ miles from home. The appointment was at 3:45pm. so I chose for the wife and I to stay the night at a motel in Ann Arbor. That was a good choice. Found an Olive Gardens for supper and a Wal Mart for hearing aids battery, nibbles and instant tea. The weather for the return trip was pretty, but cold . It was time for a nap once home.

i presume you went thru WV, did you go thru Charleston? i suspect you passed close by to me and a great smoking lounge!

The mornings in this neighborhood have been pretty cool here the last couple weeks. (Ann arbor by way of 69 and 94 would put you 15 mins from my door)
From Berne, North on US27 to I469 to US 24 to US 23 into Ann Arbor is the shortest. I 69 to I 94 is much further, and the roads are just as bad.

I was loading the dishwasher and Fred again jumped inside. Seeing that he's grown so big it's not as easy to remove him. Wonder if he'll get even bigger.

Fred the brat cat at some time poked little holes into the bag of Lane LTD. Toasted Black Cavendish. Luckily I had a sandwich bag large enough. He's always getting into something while he's awake. He's a good cat most of the time, mainly while he's asleep.

Considering the purchase of a car. Having just one car isn't cutting it. I just need something for errands and appointments.The below is priced right and is low miles.
