I've found some fellows who seems to take posting on here way too serious. I do this for amusement. I find little importance to my posting here other than my own gratification.

The problem child kitten is now sleeping, resting up from his antics around the house. So he can terrorize everything again. Comical to watch him run and hop all around, knocking stuff over, disconnecting the cords to appliances and nearly getting squashed by knocking over a pry bar. Plastic bottles and small boxes or amd thing not nailed down is played with.

Wednesday I have a semi annual Cardio check up. I'll smoke my pipe both ways. Going into Ft. Wayne is always an adventure, with us living in a rural town. If wife comes along. we'll eat somewhere. I want to stop at Wal-Mart. We need some stuff.

Well my visit to Walmart was a bust. Two out of three of the things I needed they didn't have. When what you need is brand specific they may not have it. Old Pooper dog loves Gravy Train, no Gravy Train no buy dog food. Secondly the makers of my glucose meter say to only use Duracell batteries in it. They had the right size battery but no Duracell, so no deal

I think our kitten Fred suffers from separation anxiety. We were gone from the house all afternoon. Once we got home, Fred hasn't left the wife. Our adult children said he whined until they brought him and the Tiny dog in with them. He played with their kitten, and once we got home he was worn out.

House setting, the wife and our adult children have gone to one of the wife's relative's anniversary and house warming celebration. I get to take care of our three indoor cats and old dog. It will be several days of relative quiet.
Surprised Fred the kitten isn't being a pest. He's usually demanding attention, wanting to play all the time. Spoke too soon, Fred has awaken from a nap. Still sleepy but now wants to be close to one of his people. Grumpy old dog doesn't want to be bothered right now. So he's on my leg.

Earlier Fred was on the top of the desk, I was playing a game. The movement caught hi little eye, and he tried to play with the movement on the screen.
It occurred to me that one could post smokes on "What are you smoking ?" without actually having done so. I see no value in doing so, because I do this for the fun of it. Someone could take their post count all too seriously. My life doesn't revolve around 'The Briar Patch". I'm often too busy doing other things or busy doing nothing at all.
Ferd was on the back of my chair, slipped and nailed my shoulder with all four paws of stickers.
He's back! Now on the other shoulder.

Pardon me for entering your fortress of solitude, but regardless of if one has smoked, will smoke, said he would smoke and then changed mind is sort of a moot point.
The purpose of the thread (or an important to many) is so we can see what others are smoking and ask a question about the tobacco or the pipe. It also provides a chance to cut up a little.
Other questions might be why do we have signatures for our posts? Why do we have names? Why is there air?
Anyone, as you, who has tried to save an animal and heart gets broken when it does not survive is someone who has earned my respect. I pray to God that I see my pets again someday, and am often brought to tears thinking of them. That said, it's not about post counts. This is not the Nineties. Do I notice when I go from Junior to Full Member? Yes, because I do not aspire to remain a Junior. Do I think I will ever have the post counts of some? Don't know nor care. This is a great forum where people want to like people. Where people don't just pop off on someone.
I'm in bed twenty hours a day living on Social Security. I do a lot of trading to get the pipes I have, though I have also been gifted some great ones. My point here is that I will never have the pipes that some have. I don't come here for that. I am sooooo grateful to come here and be blessed by the friends I have made. I did so by going beyond hello and saying what I was smoking. But, that was a start.
David
