Pardon me for entering your fortress of solitude, but regardless of if one has smoked, will smoke, said he would smoke and then changed mind is sort of a moot point. The purpose of the thread (or an important to many) is so we can see what others are smoking and ask a question about the tobacco or the pipe. It also provides a chance to cut up a little. Other questions might be why do we have signatures for our posts? Why do we have names? Why is there air? Anyone, as you, who has tried to save an animal and heart gets broken when it does not survive is someone who has earned my respect. I pray to God that I see my pets again someday, and am often brought to tears thinking of them. That said, it's not about post counts. This is not the Nineties. Do I notice when I go from Junior to Full Member? Yes, because I do not aspire to remain a Junior. Do I think I will ever have the post counts of some? Don't know nor care. This is a great forum where people want to like people. Where people don't just pop off on someone. I'm in bed twenty hours a day living on Social Security. I do a lot of trading to get the pipes I have, though I have also been gifted some great ones. My point here is that I will never have the pipes that some have. I don't come here for that. I am sooooo grateful to come here and be blessed by the friends I have made. I did so by going beyond hello and saying what I was smoking. But, that was a start. David I'm glad you enjoy the forum. I'm here for the same reasons, and take posting and post count with little value other than my own pleasure. Due to disability I have too much free time and too little income. The internet as a whole has opened up many possibilities. Living in a rural town, which has only a discount tobacco store, mainly cigarettes, and RYO tobacco and tubes. It has a limited selection of pipe tobacco, which doesn't include most OTC tobaccos. Capt Black and Smoker's Pride would be my choices if not for the internet. Have fun and enjoy. Chores here need to be done, avoiding kitten attacks. Take Care!

Can't get to the place I bought BBQed Snoots from anymore. Well, they are in "Ferguson" so I am not even sure they are there. Take care and love the pets you have at the moment. Keep the others in your heart, always. That's what I do.

Fred has attacked again. Wanting into my lap and me to play with him, he jumped up and dug his sharp little claws into my left hand rather than my jeans. Luckily he only snagged me with one claw, and only three of his sharp little stickers. I stopped the bleeding with a paper towel, and disinfected with rubbing alcohol. The kitten only suffered my howling from being snagged. He's now entertained by the other kitten playing under the door which separates us from the other part of the house.

i need to write Nording and insist on purple. Purple is appealing to men as well. I don't understand why they wouldn't do purple. (I'm not bitter, lol) Purple happens to be my favourite colour. Checking out your Nordings, Grumpy and I think I need to look into picking one up.

The Blue one is pretty, but I really like the yellow one. Nose warmers are cool.

I'm finding that Fred the kitten has two main speeds, full forward and sleep. He was sleeping on a box atop other boxes when it and he fell off the stack. What a confused look he had. Couldn't help but chuckle.

Stiner kitten sat on my c-pap machine, turning it off, which woke me. I thought the power had gone off. Opened my eyes to see Fred sitting on the c-pap machine. Then a cramp in my leg made me get out of bed. He's a ball of energy and trouble. I have to grab the kitten when letting out the barkey dog. Each step I look to make sure I'll not step on him. He'll hide and wait for me to pass to ambush my ankle. I have to wear jeans so when he wants into my lap I don't get lacerations on my leg. I'll be glad when he's big enough to jump all the way. All this and more, but I love the little shite anyway.

Baily our adult children's kitten was crying loudly at our door. So I let her in, petted her a bit and let her down to play with Fred. So I now have two kittens in here, wrestling, running and chasing each other. Meanwhile annoying the old dog watching them.

I put Baily kitten back on her side. She's probably sleeping now, Fred is. Worn out from too much play.

Pretty chilly here today. More rain is forecast for tonight. A tired from too much play kitten is napping on my leg. The gas heater is keeping it nice and toasty in the cave.

Cool Margaret, Fred walked on the keyboard, which didn't help any. The little fart is demanding attention, and being a real bother.

The pest kitten Fred was demanding attention so much I had to lay my pipe down. He's now settled down and is napping on my leg. It can be hard to do much with him in the middle of everything.

The wife, myself and our children will be discussing the possibility of moving to southwest Missouri. The main positive point is the wife has a boatload of relatives in the area. I have questions about housing, health facilities for the two of us, internet and cable providers and more I haven't thought of yet. We'll need to have the A/C serviced in the Chrysler for the summer time there. Here we know where everything is, there we'll have to find out. Like how far it is to the nearest Wal-Mart. What is the Missouri Medicare system like? There is a lot of things besides saving up for the move we need to do here. We have excess crap we need to rid ourselves of. There is, I'm sure lots of stuff I haven't thought of yet. I have no conclusion, as none have been thought of yet.

Fred the brat kitten has started setting on my CPAP machine shutting it off, and of course waking me up. He did it twice last night.

Before I was ready to get up, Fred the brat kitten put his little face close enough to mine I felt his little whiskers. Then he put his paw on my closed eyelid. Food and play are his two motivations, don't know what he wanted. I wanted more sleep, so I rolled over.
As soon as we can get an appointment, after the first of the month, he'll have his claws and dangleberries removed. That will lessen the scratches we get and will keep him from marking our house as his territory.
I just can't got the temperature right in the cave. I'll figure out where to set the new gas heater. It's half again larger than the one it replaced.
