Is it just me or do others think it blinking crazy to pay $300 or more for a pipe, especially used pipes? A pipe has to be very special for me to consider paying oner $250.Which is the most I ever paid for a pipe. I got a Peterson 150th Anniversary Founder's Edition Sandblasted Fishtail (364/1865),an Iwan Ries 145th Anniversary Dunghill, and later a Dunghill Shell Briar pot made in 1949 (my birth year). $260 was the maximum I paid. I have seen pipes listed for thousands of dollars. Who buys these things?
I'm having a very pleasant smoke in an English rustic bulldog I paid $43.25 for.

I'm guessing that the new gas heater is keeping the humidity in the cave enough so I don't have to relight my pipes after they've got lit well.
As soon as I had posted the above my pipe went out, just in spite I think.

Thinking I may need to spray the old Tiny dog with Febreze. I may washer her tomorrow, which she hates.

Don't worry about what other people think, as they don't do it too often and they're worried about what you think about them .

I just love coupons for $5 off if you spend $35, Like yeah right. It's not like I'd go to them and spend $35 if I didn't need it, They are never around when I could use them having expired.

Fred the terror kitten did a new thing this morning. I felt his whiskers on my face. Next he put his little paw on my eye. After I used the bathroom, I tried to get a little more sleep. No deal. He sat on the CPAP machine and turned it off. No rest for the weary I guess.

Fred the brat kitten had fun last night, dancing on and near my head, and setting on the wife's and my CPAP machine and turning them off.

Fred the terror kitten is twice as large as when we got him. No longer is he the clumsy ball of fluff as when he came here. He's started a couple annoying things he does. First is walking and sitting on the wife's and my CPAP machines, turning them off while we sleep. And the time of day or night it is doesn't effect him playing. Like early the other morning he was jumping and dancing on and around my head while I tried to sleep. He's good at entertaining the wife and I, but can annoy as well.

This will be my next new pipe, if not sold out first. It is a Blakemar Briars King's Imperial squat bulldog, made in England.

I ought to lay all my pipes out on the bed and photograph them all.
My Mark Tinsky I ordered from him a couple years ago.

Fred is quickly becoming a cat. He's still growing quickly. He just wants to eat, play poop and sleep.

We're enduring a bit of wet and nasty weather. Soon I'll see what I stuffed into the Nording Royal Flush (Queen) Horn, Crooner I'm thinking. With a large mug of French roast coffee.
