Spot is now big enough and old enough to be neutered and declawed. No more or fewer little holes in me from kitten claws!

Setting here now I have five pipes less than 6 months old,(new to me for one of them). There are more, just not on my desk. I shall post pictures of the latest one. A Blue Nording Sailor. These smoke very well, fairly cool too. The color and price were right. Now I need a a captain's hat to go with it. That is beautiful! Dang it! I'm trying to decide what few pipes I am going to keep and now I have to go buy another one!

Thanks! Buying it from Smokingpipes.com I could choose the pipe I wanted. So I chose the one with the nice straight grain.

Yea, it really is a beauty. It also smokes pretty well too! I'm confused, I now don't know which pipe is being spoken about.

I'm working on "breaking in" several new pipes. Because I'm going to the Chicago Pipe Show I'll have more soon. I was going to say more but the wife called and I forgot what that was.

We have decided to call Spot Snuggles or Snuggle Cat or Kitty. He often comes to me and ask to be picked up and held while being petted.

Slow smoke contest? When I was a young teenager, I'd sit with my Pop to keep him company (As a smoker he was banished from our family room) He watched much more interesting TV shows than my parents allowed & at around 14yo he allowed me to smoke (that's a funny story in itself) One TV show that I remember was a pipe smoking contest. A British show with a commentator that sounded a lot like the guy who narrated the snooker Pot Black show in hushed tones. Contestants were given X amount of matches. My memory is a bit vague but I think that after the true light, contestants were not permitted to light again. As a kid it was about as exciting as watching paint dry. Times have certainly changed since then. Oh & good luck with the contest.
