Darin. Took your suggestion and purchased some nice screw-top containers from Specialty Bottle. Once again thank you. Great price and they seem to do the job perfectly. Which ones did you get? Saw these if you would buy 5000 of them they are only .26 apiece, I will be glad to buy 10 from you... www.specialtybottle.com/glass-bottles/vials/1dram-vc1Well I bought the TSC1 it's a 1 oz screw cap. I only bought 6 of em to kinda try out. Probably should of bought some 2oz also. The 1oz is great for your pocket but took like 3 of em to empty one 10gram tin of Santo Domingo. I'll bring some to the next meeting if you care to check em out.

Maybe Grinding Good would be better.... Lol ... thanks! The interest has slowly increased and I really appreciate all the kind words on my creations. Larger batches are underway and will be packaged in better containers. You've got to be careful selling tobacco but Paypal "donations" for samples via email has worked for those before me. Thanks again and I'll keep you posted!

Are these tins the same as Toque comes in?

Practically. I just measured a 10g Toque tin and I'd say it is 2⅛" x ¾", so 2.125" x .75". The TSC1 tin is listed at 2.2" x .7".

First a satiating snootful of Toque Ambrosia followed by an enthusiastic sneezefest, then soon thereafter a 2-honk sniff of mint clover... Next up is gonna be a double-shot of CG Savory :-) Will let y'all know when I get close to an overdose, or when I recover from one :-)) I'm so enjoying these Cobguy snuffs, all!!!

Can you elucidate why? trailboss and 10Furlongs sent me my first snuff back in October (including some cobguy's) and I now love snuff and can't explain why. I've never had a noticeable nicotine hit, whatever that is, from anything. Part of it is the little ritual, the historical connection, the cool tiny containers, and a sense of not being mainstream, but I really don't know what it is I enjoy. I now like all the snuffs I have, both menthol and non. Wish I knew what Darin calls the snuff he sent me by proxy

Is it smoky ... like Latakia? It could be the very first rendition of Desert Campfire.
Otherwise, if it's choco-minty, it may have been Girl Scout Cookies.

Now that you mention it, smoky is the perfect description. Like a campfire. Yes, it's smoky, and you sent some to 10Furlongs. Cool.

-I am passionate about sneezing -The stink-eye look that people hurl my way amuses me -The brown stain tattooed on the tip of my nose I consider a mark of distinction -A healthy alternative to a wannabe cocaine habit -That tingley feeling I get all up and down my... -The "why do I do it?" question asked of me only once in a green moon -Because it taste/smells/and feels good all at once -It wakes me up just in time for my next sleeping pill

LOL ... great reasons! - I was that kid that would sniff every candle in a store that sold them. - Working in a hospital means NO smoking all day for me. - Nicotine keeps my energy level and focus up while working. - A rich, centuries old tradition that needs to not die just because the Sheeple are scared.

Sooo, last September I was happily smoking pipes and minding my own business. Then, in October, Charlie and Furlongs send me some free tins and tubs of snuff. Just try it, bro! Now, five months later, I'm snorting straight latakia. Am I to expect I'll be mainlining Makla this time next year?

I am in the process of proselytizing people over to being Maklanites...it really kicks you in the pants when you need it. I was feeling tired after a trip to Monument Valley....Makla made the trip possible.

These containers arrived last night and I'm anxious to see how many grams of snuff will fit ... hoping for 10-15 grams. Next thing I need is some round labels and to make more batches of snuff!

I find the small narrow capped glass tube containers you provide work so well to dab a perfect pea-sized powdery disc onto the back of the hand between thumb n forefinger. Doesn't require a scoop or any other implement. Just turn open end upside down to cup on hand, deposit snuff, then flip back over and there it is... sniff sniff.

BUMP ... How's it going snuffers?? We've added several new members recently and I figured it was time to "rope 'em in"! As far as my own batches ... Root Beer was very popular and I'll be making lots more. Do you guys think a tiny bit of Vanilla would be a good addition or just keep it the same?

Been trying this stuff since the last pipe club meeting. Charlie gave me some Toque oridginal. It has been interesting experience.
The only issue I have had has been when I try to sniff some it hits the back of my throat.
If I continue with this I will have to find something to pit it in that is easier to open.

That Toque snuff is pretty fine and dry ... easy to sniff it too far.
Are you pinching it or tapping out onto the back of your hand?

I like the Root Beer as is, but also enjoy mixing it with Cobguy Savory and also a few others. The minty ones are VERY refreshing and a little sprinkle mixed in to just about any other make for a flavor party! I think adding some vanilla to the Root Beer would be sensational - might taste like a cross between Root Beer & Cream Soda. Go for it!!!

I like the Toque Original Charlie sent me mixed 50/50 with a non-menthol; currently Wilsons of Sharrow Kendal Brown. I get the bite of the Original with the flavor of the Kendal Brown. I mix them in the Toque bullet he sent me and always tap onto my hand.
Less snuff and a sniff not a snort keeps it from going down the back of my throat.

It's almost hard to go wrong blending different snuffs together.

Typical wife rolled her eyes and shock her head. Hell she smoked a 1/2 A bowl of Virginia #1 and got a good buzz. She doesn't smoke that much may a bowl every couple of months.
