A little NC Madras for me and it's almost time to call it a night here at work. YAY!!

The Old Paris is good! Fairly long lasting scent and good burn. Its got a unique leathery bit to it. - I wish my card would allow me to buy from foreign countries I'd grab some more of it. I really liked the Medicated 66 - and wish I could try the begum green and some others Ive heard you-ins post about.

Today, I brought the Makla to work ... Shammah Afgani and Fire & Ice. These are "almost" spit-free and easy to manage with a smooth delivery of Vitamin N.

Well folks ... this thread had a great run but it's starting to look like it's over. If others would like to continue it, please do and I'll join right back in. If not, you know where to find me snuffing! Oh yeah ... White Elephant.

I've taken a break from posting. Needed to let some things die down. In life, and on here.
I've been on a makla kick for a week or so.
Cheeta at work today

I have been working a big tin of Viking Brown for a few weeks as I am riding with a non smoker.... if the roles were reversed, I would tell the new guy “I hope you like pipe tobacco!”
I need to bring a few more tins, variety is the spice of life!

Nice to see you guys back. I've also been using a fair amount of Makla lately as it's perfect at work. Charlie ... how much longer with the training guy? What does he think of the snuff?

I only had enough coffee to make 1 cup this morning. I continued with SG Black Arabica for the senses and Afghan white for the kick.

Thanks!
It's a Cigar leaf base (Paraguay Flojo Africa Viso) which is fermented for about 6 weeks. Fermenting, or kilning, is done at 120-125°F and >70% humidity. Once this is completed, the leaf is allowed to rest for a few weeks and then dried and milled. After this step, the "secret sauce" goes on and it is jarred for another few weeks. Finally, it is removed from the jars, dried and re-milled down to the final coarseness. I use 600 mesh and then 400 mesh sieves to get a good consistency.

Very nice. I may have some questions for you at the beginning of next year when I get that rustica grown.
