Now smoking Peter Stokkebye Bright Virginia in the first pipe Trever Talbot made when he went to France many years ago. It's a smooth straight Algerian briar Billiard bowl with a long Canadian stem, unbranded. Ice water and floaty widdle icebergs is my evening drink.

Damn it! I'd been thinking about getting back home and having some of the 1944 Old English curve Cut that Charlie graciously sent me. It's all entirely covered in a green mold. I thought I could smell it in the flakes when he sent it to me but not having humidity there in Arizona must've mitigated the growth. Once I got it here in Indiana the spores said "Hell yes! We'll take it!" Disappointed and going to see if I can kill it but the Flake have what looks like two different strains of mold and it's some of the worst I've seen. So bummed. So now I'm gonna figure out what to smoke to chill me out.

After a good long nap, I'm having some University Flake in the M.T. Natural.

Just finished my second pipe of the day- My Bjarne Viking loaded with St Basil's Rasputin. If any of you Eastern PA or NJ guys have a line on where I could get more, I'd be in your debt. Yo red The St Basil's blends were put together by a former employee at the New Hope, PA store of A Little Taste of Cuba. I got several at the Princeton store. The NJ prices were steep. New Hope may have better prices. hp les PS - obligatory WAYS post: Just finished a bowl of a rare extinct bird - G. Smith & Sons Old London Export Mixture, in a Pipa Croci author given to me by a good friend. I only see one review in TR, a very recent one by pipestud. Maybe I ought to throw a companion review on there.

Well I opened that tin. Small rectangular tin still had negative pressure. The flakes were a little hard to get apart and still had moisture. There's definite crystals on the flake, albeit sparse and very small. But I got to say this damn tasty. Having a Tidal Disruption from Schell's Brewery on the side.

It would be 10 hours round trip to New Hope from here. haha I don't know that I like it quite enough to make the drive.
