First bowl of the day is yet more EGR/H&H. I found a half-filled medium-sized jar of it that I'd forgotten. (Another binge with this favorite mix is in the process of developing.) In the little Stanwell Lightweight billiard

Part way through a bowl of C&D Interlude in my Calabresi VSQ Brandy. How do you like the Calabresi? Several people on Ebay are selling lots of various Calabresi pipes, new and unsmoked. Was thinking about purchasing one and wondered what you're thinking about the pipe and the brand. haebar - Such a simple question to which I am going to give a long answer. ;-) Short answer: Calabresi pipes are good pipes. Long answer: After typing it, I cut and paste it into it's own thread here: thebriarpatchforum.com/thread/1687/calabresi-cristiano-pipes

Worked from home today. Now I'm done. Think I'll smoke for the rest of the afternoon and enjoy the weather. Starting off with Erin Go Bragh in a rusticated Sav Bing, club soda on the side. Hard to say where I'll go from here...may just work my way through whatever is in my pipe bag. Happy happy. 😄

On to SWRA in the same Bing. Quite breezy, and I'm packing lite...so I'm burning through the smokes rather quickly.

My Edward G. Robinson finally arrived. Salivating over the tin note as I type. It smells like I am having a cocktail in one of those ritzy 1940s clubs with with a huge swing band blaring away on stage while the women twirl in their pleated skirts. Going on a beer run and then this will be my first smoke of the day!

Just finished running an errand and this bowl of Watch City Flake #558 in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. A bottle of Kutztown Root Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink.

Now smoking the last of this tin of D&R A.B. Rimboche in a smooth straight pre-transition Barling 313 T.V.F. EXEXEL pot with a black ebonite stem. Time to clean a few pipes and answer a few e-mails while I watch Perry Mason.
