Not far from finishing this bowl of Bentley The Oriental Spice in a 1970s small bowl smooth medium bend Danish Sovereign XXX 324 volcano sitter with a black vulcanite stem. Close to dinner time and the Nats-Mets game, too.

These are the mountains we watch. This pic was taken yesterday, just down the road behind the house. That looks like a good place to sit back & enjoy a pipe .... real nice view.

G&H scented Dark in pug bulldog. Perfumy, but at least I got it
C&D Apricots and Creme topped on 10 YO Tinderbox Captain Spice in the meer I showed earlier. 20-30 years. Really don't know. This meer has never disappointed. I get what I am supposed to get... and promised. Not counting scars from the wife's lead spatula

Murray's Yachtsman Navy Plug with added D&R Acadian Bright Perique. I have one few bowl worth batch that dried out for 24 hours and is perfect for blending now, and I've sat out the entire 6 ounce tub on a table for drying. The entire room smells like a hard cider or my wife says the whole room smells like I'm a drunk and theres some type of wine spilled absolutely everywhere. It's seemingly attracting swaths of fruit flies out of the woodwork. As it's dried for almost 2 hours thus far all sitting out at once, it now smells like fermented apricot/wine/cider/chocolate. The pipe is a 1980's Merkur 2000 volcano.

Borkum riff special mixture no 8 in the bantam falcon with a bantam apple bowl. I'm apprehensive about the taste of cat feces as one reviewer put it. Drinking dr pepper and thinking about the week ahead.

I am finding that this Sutliff Match encourages refills, so that's what I'll do. Making a mental note to watch Endeavor on Masterpiece Theatre tonight. Not sure if the new season premiered last Sunday?

Drinking dr pepper and thinking about the week ahead. I've never smoked nor tasted cat feces, but if it tastes like Borkum Riff Special No. 8, I'll be confusing the cats from now on. Bwahahaha! A little late for my last smoke of the night, but I'm having some OGS in the Medico Tuxedo. Still weighing the pros and cons of the potential career change.

I've been welding for a decade and abusing my body for the benefit of others for near 3 decades. The only way I can move up where I'm at now is to become exactly what I despise.

To clarify, the incredibly talented reviewer did not say that it tastes like cat feces: Reviewed By Date Rating Strength Flavoring Taste Room Note JohnLawitzke (3) 2015-09-02 ★☆☆☆ Mild Extra Strong Overwhelming Pleasant I received a pouch of this as part of a raffle lot that I won at the 2015 NASPC show in Columbus. I am glad that I did not spend money on it. The description of this tobacco at the top of the page is completely different than what is printed on the pouch. The pouch description is: "The Special No. 8 recipe consists of 40% Black Cavendish from Africa and Argentina which is mixed with 60% Virginia from Brazil and Europe. Flavour: Hints of nuts and vanilla." This blend is absolutely horrid and I would not make my worst enemy smoke this stuff. The pouch aroma smells nothing of vanilla. All you get is a very sweet smell. Honey-like, but sweeter. Upon lighting, all you get is sweet. As I smoked it, all I could taste was extreme sweetness. There was no flavor to describe, just the intense taste sensation of sweet Imagine a taste even more intensely sweet than putting a teaspoon of sugar on your tongue. Absolutely no tobacco taste could be detected. I tried to cleanse my mouth of the sweetness with mouthwash and a strong Latakia blend with no success. This blend could contain cat feces and you would not be able to tell.

I will say I got one good draw of tobacco flavor on the second relight and if the topping wasnt so overwhelming it would be a fair blend. Note: I won this blend from the naspc raffle with another tin, an empty vintage tin and a pipe rack.
