Being entertained by a couple small and clumsy fluffy kittens playing. I have some more GH&Co. Louisiana Perique Flake in the Big Ben billiard. Funny too is watching the grown dog running away from the kittens.

It tastes like grape soda syrup casing over an English blend. I've got some here but whether coincidence or not, I always seemed to get a headache shortly after finishing a bowl. By the way, there are a lot of different flavors in there, including other citrus fruit of some sort, vanilla, etc. so they might make it harder to detect. I will say it really primarily smells like grape soda to me.

Rimboche ab in the Don Warren Santa Fe freehand with a deer antler ferrule and a turquoise acrylic stem. When I initially got this pipe I didn't realize the finish wasnt goofy until at the Columbus show everyone was talking grain and johnlawitzke made a comment about growth rings and grain both being visible. That was the moment I realized the finish on this pipe is so crystal clear you can see both without looking for either. And my mind is still blown by that fact. I don't smoke this pipe all that often, and not because of its stellar grain and work, but because I'm a wimp and its a 100 g of briar. I still love the hell out of the smokes I get when I pick it up. This one is turning out to be pretty damn fine.

Last smoke of the night is Briar Fox in the ThermoFilter Dublin with a filter. This stem is splitting down the center. I think I might have one or two 6mm stems laying around that might work.

Final smoke of the night was 70s vintage half and half in the basil meadows blasted straight apple with polished aluminum band and cumberland stem. Good convo in chat made the bowl breeze by and the flavor stand out.

I stuffed some Erin Go Bragh into the Big Ben billiard. Nice smoke. Breaking in the new pipe. With good tobacco it smokes well so far.

Only thing in my bowl was cantaloupe and pineapple. Wound up on the wagon 1 more day. Xuan wore herself out taking care of things, so I didn't want to aggravate her. We have decided on a nice area for me to make regular smoke rings in. Even has a view. All this padding on the walls and having to have the doggie loosen the buckles on my straight-jacket so I can post can bring a man down.
