Now smoking Year 2002 Wessex Sovereign Curly Cut in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Watching Mannix. I've got to ask, who is William Conrad and why, do you have his pipe? Nothing like a cup of joe and a pipe in the morning, the coffee is Columbian fresh ground from beans, the pipe, is a Savinelli Hercules rusticated 619EX, and the Tobacco is Peter Stokkybye's #31 Optimum. He was the original Matt Dillon when Gunsmoke premiered on radio in 1952, and guest starred in several thousand radio shows. He was a movie actor, the narrator for the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons as well as other shows such as The Fugitive. He guest starred in hundred of television shows, and was the star of Cannon, and Nero Wolfe, too. He also co-starred in Jake and the Fatman. He was one of my favorite actors, and for thirty years, I had greatly desired to own one of his Charatan pipes as he had one of the greatest collections of Charatan pipes in the world. That's why the pipe is so special to me. I was off the grid all weekend camping. I smoked 6 bowls of Captain Black Grape and 2 bowls of Escudo. All I can say about CB Grape is it is a must try blend. Very unique and different. Not something that falls into the all day category but it sure needs a visit now and again.

I had a bowl of D&R Two Timer in the MM Mark Twain last night after eating some pizza from Dominos.
I started a bowl of MacB ODF RR in the bent MM CG last night while playing MLB The Show.
I just topped off the pipe a bit ago with what's left in the jar & got a cup of coffee to drink.

I have some C&D Crooner in my new stealthy Big Ben straight billiard.   Sometimes less is indeed more, when quiet meets your mood and relaxation can proceed. I also have a large mug of strong coffee.

Almost finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.
