I absolutely love orange blossom honey..Sadly these days I have to watch my sugar intake so it's off limits..It's hard to find around these parts. The only place I could get it was Target. A few local farmers around here sell their own organic, no sugar added clover, wildflower and orange blossom honey. I’ve seen them in all different areas of NC. ...I have some Poison Oak Blossom honey from a local beekeeper... quite tasty and harmless...

Sushi for lunch. Then dropped a bunch of money on wines for my dads 70th next weekend and then picked up my son and his cousin to come hang out for the night. Going to make a gin martini soon with truffle cheese stuffed olives.

I’m 67, my son is 47.....doesn’t work that way with him. He wouldn’t drop a dime on my birthday. I’m NOT living there anymore, have some stuff stored at his house. I pay him $100.00 a month storage fee. It’s a long story, one day when we meet I’ll go further. Have a great evening and a much better Sunday 👌👍

He is also the Patriarch of our family and even if those other things I mentioned weren’t the case, he would still have my respect. Please talk to your son, you both might one day wish you did. Have a good weekend and feel free to give me a buzz if you want to chat, you should have my number!

I made homemade fish filet sandwiches on whole wheat buns for lunch, along with huge shrimp cocktails and pickled beets. Haven't slept more than 3 hours the last two nights. Trying to avoid a nap so I might sleep tonight.

Scott, I talked to my son this morning. When he had his open heart surgery on March 5th....I was at the hospital the entire day and part of the night. Visited my son 3 other times in the hospital and 3 more times since he’s been home. It’s his “ choice “ not to have a better relationship with me....his Dad. I’ll quote my daughter in law.....” it is what it is “!
Oh, the career I retired from I have some real GOOD friends I keep in touch with👍 Not worth the trip!! The day I’m gone from Earth, he won’t shed a tear. Believe me, my daughter will tell you I’m a great Dad and an excellent grandfather. Plus, I’m happy with the person I am, if my son needed me I’d be there at his side in a flash.

Tonight it was nothing fancy. Small Cube Steak in an iron pan with HP Sauce. Baked potato and spinach with peas and carrots, all frozen. Just a good honest meal. Desert will be an orange.

Thanks much Tosh, I appreciate your kind words. I was not close to my Dad for many reasons. I loved him, he was my Dad. I did not “ like “ the man he was. I’ve been a great Dad to my son, now the ball is in his court. I’m sure I will hear from him when a favor is needed. Like next weekend they are going to Myrtle Beach.......guess who’s watching the two dogs.....yup me!
Glad you seem to be feeling better. Have a great evening 👌👍👍
PS I must add.....I was extremely close to my Mom, she passed in 2014. I look back at all the good times in my life now.

2.5 lbs of beef mixed with crumbled up oven crisped bacon and smoked gouda cheese. Patted out into 5 burgers and grilled over charcoal. And some fritos scoops and mac and cheese, as if that was the important part of the meal.
I've been wanting a real burger for a month now. I figured if I was gunna do it, I'd do it right.

Homemade street tacos on those 4inch corn tortillas half fried in butter, onions, cheese, lime, jalapenos, on top of thin sliced sirloin from the BBQ. No cilantro I use coriander in the spice mix.

Usual Sun "brunch" coming up soon. Usual 4 lg eggs, sliced up strong cheddar (from Figis family Xmas gift), low-salt ham all mangled into a mess in the indoor Geo.Forman grill. Usual cocoa drink with add-ons & continue with the paper.
Not going into detail, very strong relationship with both my parents. NO negatives
40, cloudy now

Too nauseous to eat just now, the new medication I take at night. Hopefully by midday I will be able to eat something. Might go out for Brunch in Taos if I can raise anyone interested.

First and probably last martin of the day. Just spackled a little in the master bedroom. Had a small crack developing on the ceiling by the vent.
