Panang Curry with pork at a Thai restaurant in the sleepy southern Colorado town of San Luis, population 635. What they are doing there is hard to figure but most welcome.

Sweetie has informed me that we are about to sit down to a supper of homemade chili. Because it is my house, it will, of course, have lots of ground beef and pinto beans and no rice or noodles in it.

Chic Fila spicy chicken sandwich I fear I am too much a sinner for Chik-Filet-A. No way they let me in. They are now number 3 nation wide and I don't get it. its chicken on a terrible bun with nothing but a cheap pickle from a five gallon pail and people are wrapped around the building.

Been snacking on Snyder's Braided Twists made with real honey, lately. Moderately sweet, more bread stick like than Pretzel, their tasty, even more so with butter.

in awhile, fire up outdoor grill & couple store brand burgers imbedded with cheddar & bacon bits. A bit messy but grillplate will clean up well. Usual side of Mussleman's smooth applesauce. Later as company with Jeopardy, store brand choco-chip cookies & store brand tea.

Sloppy Joe's..As the old time country folks called them Spoon Burgers. Awhile back I bought some manwich and was disappointed... way too much sugar. I found a rigorously tested recipe from Cooks cookbook and they had a great recipe using ketchup cut with tomato sauce, and just a bit of brown sugar....on my to do list is to make a southwestern variation with Hatch chiles.
